Australia won the toss and decided to bat against England

Mitchell Johnson returns to the Australian ODI side for the first time since October following a side injury to Pat Cummins that has forced the 19-year-old out of the series with England. Cummins, who bowled with pace and hostility in the first match at Lord's will return to Australia on Monday for further tests and treatment on the injury. Australia won the toss at The Oval on a bright, sunny morning and will bat first
Johnson has only bowled six overs in one-day cricket - all in the tour game against Leicestershire 10 days ago - since sustaining a foot injury in South Africa in November. He has been preferred, perhaps with one eye to his ability with the bat, to either Ben Hilfenhaus or James Pattinson for the final place in the Australian team.
Australia have also brought in Peter Forrest for Steve Smith in their side. Smith, an allrounder who rarely bowls, looked out of his depth in the first game.
England were also forced into one change in their side. James Anderson, who suffered a groin strain in the first ODI, has been replaced by Jade Dernbach, who returns to the team on his home ground. Anderson warmed up with the squad but, with an important Test series against South Africa ahead, was not risked. England also added Stuart Meaker to their squad as cover for Anderson.
England won the first ODI of the five-match series at Lord's on Friday. If they win the series 5-0, they will become the No. 1 ranked ODI side and the first team to be ranked No.1 in all three formats of the game.
England 1 Alastair Cook (capt), 2 Ian Bell, 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Ravi Bopara, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Craig Kieswetter (wk), 7 Tim Bresnan, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Jade Dernbach, 11 Steven Finn
Australia 1 Shane Watson, 2 David Warner, 3 George Bailey, 4 Michael Clarke (capt), 5 David Hussey, 6 Peter Forrest, 7 Matthew Wade (wk), 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Clint McKay, 11 Xavier Doherty
