Delhi opt to bat, Aaron returns

In the clash of the table-toppers at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi Daredevils chose to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders. Daredevils will be missing one of their most influential players in Kevin Pietersen, who has gone back home, but in David Warner they have a capable replacement. Even Warner, though, could struggle to match the impact of Pietersen, who averaged 61 at a strike-rate nearing 150.
The other change for Daredevils is the return of fast bowler Varun Aaron, who hasn't played top-flight cricket in more than five months. His addition gives them an attack with serious pace, as they now have three bowlers capable of hitting 90 mph.
That attack is up against a team in form - Knight Riders have lost only one of their previous eight matches. Knight Riders made a couple of changes to the XI as well: Brett Lee returned for fast bowler Marchant de Lange, and left-arm seamer Pradeep Sangwan got a game ahead of left-arm spinner Iqbal Adulla.
Delhi Daredevils: 1 Virender Sehwag (capt), 2 David Warner, 3 Mahela Jayawardene, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Naman Ojha (wk), 6 Yogesh Nagar, 7 Irfan Pathan, 8 Morne Morkel, 9 Varun Aaron, 10 Shahbaz Nadeem, 11 Umesh Yadav

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1 Gautam Gambhir (capt), 2 Brendon McCullum (wk), 3 Jacques Kallis, 4 Manoj Tiwary, 5 Yusuf Pathan, 6 Debabrata Das, 7 Laxmi Shukla, 8 Rajat Bhatia, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Pradeep Sangwan, 11 Sunil Narine
