was looking forward to it but your main man Hamid Hassan is out, and by the looks of his injury i doubt he'll be bowling for a while

Win or Lose, Afghanistan is one team in my book that definitely deserves a place with the regular teams rather than the associate club

I don't watch cricket and still don't fully understand all the rules & stuff but i'll watch this match since Afghanistan are playing.

I really dont know any afghans that are into the sport except the ones that grew up in peshawar. Its mostly popular in former Brit colonies. I dont understand the sport and I dont know why some fans are such fanatics when it comes to Cricket. I know this one PAkistani who is very religious and he will never watch TV but he has the satelite hookup only for Cricket. The fanaics who closely follow the sport and professional odd makers are telling me that PAkistan is favored in the match.

I agree with you, I am by no means disrespecting the sport. Most afghans except that grew up in Pakistan's cities were never exposed to it.

That's true which is why I don't expect it to be much of a sport in areas like Kabul, they probably prefer soccer...I guess a better estimate for its popularity would be the afghan crowd that shows up in Sharjah stadium

I think many afghans will show up since many in dubai are generally bored and always looking for something to do and it would be an interesting match

well if what you say is true then its a shame, Afghanistan seems to have some really talented guys playing in the XI
