  • Afghanistan vs India fake and wrong call

    Here it from Nepalese perspective.

I am from Nepal and my heart was broken when Afghanistan beat us but Afghans prove to be the better side.

Now on to Afghanistan vs India.

Anybody with COMMON SENSE and who watched the game knows India was getting a run for their money(According to commentators) and were getting toyed on the floor. All of a sudden a unintentional trip(Which did not even look like a trip it seems they collided and overreaction by a Indian resulted in a penalty? THis is what happens when an inexperienced Punjabi who is a Sikh becomes a referee. Why would they make someone so inexperienced be a referee for a final? and that too a Singaporean Indian who is a SIKH? It's OBVIOUS he will be biased towards his native country despite now possessing a Singaporean passport.

Later they give a red card to the goalie, Yusufzai for asking by patting on his shoulder as to why you are giving his team a penalty when there was not a penalty? HE WAS THE CAPTAIN OF THE GAME FOR BAGWANS SAKE. Why cant he ask?

Later the Indians want to be happy for winning the game after scoring goals on 10man team with no proper goal keeper? are you kidding me? If that's not cheating than I don't know what is corruption. It saddens to me see a team like India win when everybody knows int that stadium the Afghan side was superior and better. INCLUDING commentators and specatators.

for further evidence watch the first half, watch how the red card is issued and watch how the penalty is given.

The referee was obviously either bought or was unjust.

The nippy Afghans were clearly the better team and had the match in control till the 68th minute. But the penalty and the red-card to Yousufzari, for pushing the referee, proved the turning point.

For India the penalty was lucky as Jeje was fouled on the edge of the box by defender Faisal Safa.

You see even the Dhotis agree with me
India thrash Afghanistan 4-0 to take SAFF title

I cried when they beat my home country Nepal but then I realized they are better than us and will beat the Indians. thats what we saw Balal Arzoo nearly scoring a goal and many others. Even SUNIL CHETTRI had said that red card is what made us win.

Bloody cheaters. How can a referee like that be set up? today I witnessed corruption.

On behalf of Yousuzai and all Afghans, I apologize on behalf of that Sikh.

The Afghans played well and it was probably a dodgy penalty decision. But that's how it is sometimes in sports, one moment and the game is turned.

But if it turns like that sports isn't sports anymore!

Yeah, but it breaks the team morale and the game becomes pretty useless. If you kick out the goalkeeper, and give a free penalty, the game is practically over. The Afghan side was outplaying the Indian side, and I guess the referee got emotional to see the country of his roots get a beating on the floor[That's what the commentators said, not me]. I'll have a talk with one of the players as to how he accepted an Indian origin referee to officiate the game. That, in my opinion, is unacceptable. Yousafzai, as Shehazadi pointed out, was the team captain. No where did I see him "Push" the referee, in fact, the referee claimed he made fun of his hair. I don't believe or buy that, and even so, that's a yellow card followed up with a serious talking too. Not a red card. Everybody, and I mean everybody including the coach knew the Afghan team were literally toy-playing the Indian side. The referee was young and inexperienced, and that's why Afghanistan lost. According to the OP, even India's star player agreed that the red card was the reason why they lost.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Bad decision-making overall, I agree. I would just need more than allegations to say it was all collusion. But yes, the result of the game could have been very different without the red card and the penalty.

That ref should pray to his god that he never faces an Afghan.
