  • AFG v India Live Stream! (Football) - 3/12/2011

Don't worry guys, this isn't another spam account

Those of you who have been following the updates in the http://www.pashtunforums.com/sports-...ll-news-15830/ thread will know that tommorow (3rd December) Afghanistan will play India in the South Asian Football Federation Cup (SAFF).

I have managed to find a live stream on youtube that will start in precisely 10 hours as of this posting (9:30 am London time, 5:30 am New York time, 2:30 am California time).

This is a great opportunity to see your national team in action!

    Here is the link:

    India Vs Afghanistan - YouTube

I would have otherwise posted this in the football thread but I feel that as it is so hard to find links (let alone live youtube streams), this definetly deserves a thread of its own.

    Enjoy.

Edit: If you missed the match at the time it was broadcast, you can still click the above link to see it again.

Dera manana Haris Khana. You saved me a good 1 hour of searching.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

It's good to see some Afghan supporters in the stadium, especially considering how empty it was yesterday when the other teams played.

there were a couple of white girls i think they are supporting the Afghan team,

btw this seems very amateur compared to european football but Afghans are playing better here.

i did hear somebody scream AFGHANISTAAAAAAAAN

It's a good feeling seeing your team play.
We are playing good so far, although our GK looks abit weak.

Yes masha'Allah, even though our team is composed mainly of amateur league expatriates from around the world, they are playing very good.

Definetly looking like the better team.

Looking forward to the second half.

There was a very nice shot in the second half and our GK made a decent save so I guess he redeemed himself.

The Indians also had one or two missed chances.

Other than that the scores remained the same.

For those of you who missed the match, I am sure it will be uploaded to YouTube soon so you can see it again. I will post it up when it comes on.

So if you missed the live stream, you can see the match again with the link posted at the beginning.

Wazir Warrior, you cannot expect a bunch of expatriates from around the world in amateur leagues (I think one of them was an office worker or something) whose main practice playing together as a national team was only one week before this match, to already be playing on the same level as Brazil, Netherlands or these other top teams.

It will take time, but we are definetly improving. One step at a time.
Soon, this will be a team that we can all be proud of.

The goal scored by Bilal Arzou was actually very decent. It should have been followed up with further goals but I guess they are saving them up for the matches against Bhutan & Sri Lanka.

Haris, when it comes to Soccer Afghans are extremely talented, especially the latest generation. I don't know about the U.K, but in the U.S there are many Afghan soccer teams where they meet semi-annually in many Afghan-ran tournaments.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
