Afridi - who afterall is a Pakhtun, has exposed the real face of PCB to the whole world.

It is an eye opener for the paki-loyal-simpletons we have among Pakhtuns.

There is simply no need to drive this thing to the Punjabi/Pakhtun issue? If you could hardly know there are millions of Punjabies (Fan, Ex-Cricketers & Media Persons) who still support Afridi on this stance against the PCB. There are always problems between good players and the board in Pakistan, the example could be Shoaib Akhtar, the way he was treated, and the same is the case of Afridi, he commented that there are people from Lahore who are not having good thoughts about him and the whole Pakistani nation is standing by Afridi's decision. I am sure it's a conditional retirement and he will be back very soon. It's infact a very good decision by Shahid Afridi and right on time, he knows the people and media will support him and I am sure this guy will be able to give hard time to PCB officials.

The minister of sports yesterday said, that he will meet the President Asif Ali Zardari and will have a talk about the issue !!

Afridi central contract suspended
PCB has initiated action against Shahid Afridi in response to the following breaches he has committed under the Central Contract signed with PCB:

1. By announcing his retirement in the manner that he did Shahid Afridi is in breach of Clause 2.1.4 of the Central Contract dealing with Covenants of the Cricketer.

2. In passing disparaging remarks about the board and its officials Shahid Afridi is in breach of Clause 4.4 dealing with Media obligations,

Following disciplinary actions have been initiated against Shahid Afridi by PCB:

1. A show cause notice has been issued to him seeking his explanation on these comments. Afridi has been asked to respond to the letter within 7 days of receipt of the same.

2. His Central Contract has been suspended with immediate effect. Consequently, all NOCs granted to him have been revoked.

3. All payments on account of Central Contract have been suspended





this means that afridi can no longer play for english county or in the srilankan premier league...or the australian big bash

this is not true, he can still play outside pakistan, but yes he probably can't play domestic cricket inside pakistan because of this.

But lets hope this corrupt PCB changes, one these people go, i am sure afridi can comeback.

Sweetheart, If you know he had already announced that he isn't gonna play after the world cup, definitely my last world cup and he wanted to end his career that's it he can do that !! And what that Cricket Board had done to Shoaib Akhtar through out his career is much worst than what Afridi is facing today !!
