  • Anyone know/have PASHTU channels in UK?

    Anyone know how to get these? I have a satellite receiver, but not sure it's capable of picking up channels.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Pashto channels;

    Those are on C Band so yes they are receivable in the uk if you don't have anything in the way (hills buildings etc..)

    but for C band you need a big dish fitted with a C band LNB it would also have to be very high up to get that low angle so it would be quite a sight as well as a bit of heavy engineering to do it

    At LEAST1.8m 2.4m 3m ... on the roof... on a long pole ...20" steam pipe/ shed 80 for the first few meters reducing down nearer the top or latticed stantion

    or just nip out at night with a pipe cutter & do a Cool Hand Luke & borrow a mobile phone mast

            Which type of boxes? I've had a chipped box, but that's for domestic channels.

                THE "Jadoo" box which is a I.P box is tbh not a good option.

                It runs via the net so unless they have a 1meg constant upload speed you would not get a good picture ( live digital streaming).

                The picture pixies and if you are running it in the ukl you would need a dedicated internet boradband around 1meg but would need to be dedicated ( or set your speed via router.

                no other form if box will pick it up.

                  Chip boxes no longer work unless your in the ISLE OF MAN.

                  They have moved onto N3 which is hackable but has its restrictions.

                  1 Standalone box you would need around £200,000 worth of equipment.
                  2 Card sharing over a ftp network.

                            I am on 20mg and have thought about purchasing the starview 7 box.

                            I'm waiting for my friend to buy one first to try it out.
