Kashmir is a disputed territory and the politicians of Pakistan and India played with this beautiful land like heaven and made it hell.

Djinnah first sent the tribals supported by Pak Army. The Kashmir monarch acceded to India later.

Kashmirs were happy with India for 40 years.

Pakistan Army sent the terrorists 20 yrs ago. India had to send the army to fight them.

I assure you once Pakistan stops sending terrorists, India will remove the Army and Kashmiris will be happy once again .

And you should be the one reading UN resolutions. Here you can read them at your own goverment's site:

If you are too lazy to read them I will post the relevant portions :

1. The Government of Pakistan should undertake to use its best endeavors:

(a) to secure the withdrawal from the State of Jammu and Kashmir of tribesmen and Pakistani nationals not normally resident therein who have entered the State for the purpose of fighting and to prevent any intrusion into the State of such elements and any furnishing of material aid to those fighting in the State;

(b) To make known to all concerned that the measures indicated in this and the following paragraphs provide full freedom to all subjects of the State, regardless of creed, caste, or party, to express their views and to vote on the question of the accession of the State, and that therefore they should co-operate in the maintenance of peace and order.

So :
1. take out all your army and punjoos settled there in "Azad" Kashmir.

2. hand over the territory occupied, i.e., AZK and Baltistan to India

3. ask your best friends China to give back Aksai-Chin and territory gifted by Ayub Khan in 1963 .

Then India shall hold a plebiscite, as described here in the same UN resolution :

B. PLEBISCITE

6. The Government of India should undertake to ensure that the Government of the State invite the major political groups to designate responsible representatives to share equitably and fully in the conduct of the administration at the Ministerial level, while the plebiscite is being prepared and carried out.

7. The Government of India should undertake that there will be established in Jammu and Kashmir a Plebiscite Administra-tion to hold a plebiscite as soon as possible on the question of the accession of the State to India or Pakistan.

8. The Government of India should undertake that there will be delegated by the State to the Plebiscite Administration such powers as the latter considers necessary for holding a fair and impartial plebiscite including, for that purpose only, the direction and supervision of the State forces and police.

9. The Government of India should, at the request of the Plebiscite Administration, make available from the Indian forces such assistance as the Plebiscite Administration may require for the performance of its functions.

Why forget China ? Kashmir should also be independent from China, no ?

Let's be realistic, Pakistan itself wants to gobble up whole Kashmir. Some Kashmiris may not be happy with India because of the presence of India troops who are necessary to hunt down the Paki terrorists; but only a lunatic will want to join Pakistan.

As a Pakistani, you have no right to talk about Kashmir's azadi because if you read the "Azad" Kashmir's constitution here:

You will find that it states that the precondition for taking any office in "Azad" Kashmir to swear this oath :

I will remain loyal to the country and the cause of accession of the State of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan

This applies to positions from president, Prime minister, Minister, Speaker, MPs , MLCs etc.

Furthermore,

No person or political party in Azad Jammu and Kashmir shall be permitted to propagate against, or take part in activities prejudicial or detrimental to, the ideology of the State’s accession to Pakistan.

What this means is that no pro-azadi group can survive or established in Pakistan. Indeed Pakistan has never given support to the idea of J&K independence. It's official position is that right to self-determination must be given to the people of J&K according to UN resolution. But there is no choice for azadi in the said resolution as you can read in my previous post.

So I only hope that you were being ignorant when you made such comments otherwise you would be a hypocrite.
