I have plans of going back to Laghman. I really, really would love to have enough money to open a good working clinic in between Kunar and Laghman, since in that area, it takes like 2 days to see a doc.....its a dream of mine, and pray to accomplish it, inshallah.

We spend most of our money in our village back home, We bulid busniess, buy houses, I won't just go there and sit and do nothing.Originally posted by wtfyo View Postzanjeer: Its not the culture I'm concerned with, its more of living standards. I'm sure majority of the people on this forum are either living in Western Europe or North America, the living standards can't be compared. I think I just opened another can of worms with this reply.
Master Khan: Sta khabara manum, khpal watan khpal ye. But I don't share the same emotional bond as everyone else here I guess. Dont get me wrong, I love my culture, I'm a proud pukhtoon but I would rather live my life here than over there. Also, I understand there is a lot of freedom, no insurance, no tax but there are no jobs either lol good luck maintaining the same level of income over there legally.
You can't start your own busniess in the UK because you will be paying to much tax and insurace.Last edited by Master Khan; 04-29-2010, 08:19 AM.

If you have a plan in place as to what you will do either in Afghanistan or Pakistan, go for it. I wish you good luck!Originally posted by Master Khan View PostWe spend most of our money in our village back home, We bulid busniess, buy houses, I won't just go there and sit and do nothing.

Although I have lived in the UK at a younger age, I am not familiar with how start-ups work.

True say guys, if one wanted to be a businessman over there it can happen, even with a tiny stall selling a lil food you can make 500 rupees a day which can last a week easy. But like everywhere everything is becoming expensive..the meat flour etc so its making life more difficult too.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostRS 30000 rupees is enogh for a month in my Village.

In this Country if you are earning lets say £30000, a year, Half of it you will be paying to the goverment.Originally posted by Amarkhel View PostTrue say guys, if one wanted to be a businessman over there it can happen, even with a tiny stall selling a lil food you can make 500 rupees a day which can last a week easy. You can't even buy a car here because you must pay Insurance(which is Useless) and MOT..its Annoying.
As soon as you put money in the bank,,BOOM its gone.
I want to town I needed the Toilet, and it said on it, 20p for 5 mins lol!.

We should all share our resources and not charge eachother just to eat, what a great society would that be eh.
