Have you noticed that every time you make plans, they never work out? I'm not talking about going to some event or anything big. I'm talking about small insignificantt events. For example, on Monday, I planned out my weekend and everything that I was going to do Saturday and Sunday. Well now that we're at Saturday, I'm not going to be able to accomplish everything or heck even anything. This always happens to me. Literally always.

I'm not sad about it, or even upset at the thought why everything changes, I'm down for the changes. But its just weird that it always happens. Has this happened to you? One of my friends in high school would always tell me, "making plans is God's way of laughing at you", for your plans will never work according to you.
"Do not lose hope in adversity and complain that God singled you out for punishment, remitting others guilty of worse sins. Your present state could very well be His intent to elevate your spiritual station. Or He could just be testing your faith. Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus, your present despair may be the beginning of an infinite blessing". - Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.

i don't make plans. i know some people who decide on what they want to wear tomorrow on the night before they sleep. i make that decision in 30 seconds 7 minutes before leaving the house.
one other thing that i have noticed with making plans is that i get bored of the idea by the time the event for which i had planned arrives.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

I plan and you plan but Allah is the best planner of all.

I've noticed that when I plan specific things out in great detail and get really excited about them, something usually comes up. I used to get very upset about that.. but time has proven that it is Allah's way of keeping us safe. In a sense - no matter how insignificant the events are - everything does happen for a reason.

Things don't just happen, they happen for a reason. Don't feel discouraged, It happens, If it makes you feel any better, I use a calendar on my phone and it helps me remain organized. Its also prevents 'unknown' events from randomly popping up. Don't think too much about these kind of things, your killing your brain cells.

Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

The only thing in life that is certain is that life is always changing......not stagnant.

Yet all you say is true, only Allah knows what is best for us, and when. I think in our hearts we believe that, and yet there is also a small (?) part of ourselves probably the ego, that just hates having someone else in control, even if that someone is Allah (though most of us would never admit that).
