I don't have a favourite season. I couldn't care less whether it is a clear sky or cloudy or raining or sunny or snowing or hailstorms or calm or windy or raining elephants.

It does not affect my mood or my feelings. I just live with whatever is there and make-do with it.

A mild overcast day is most practical for me though.

Heh. I am not passionate about anything in life but I am not some depressed emo. I laugh at jokes & love my family. However that does not mean that my mood is determined by everything I see or the people that I am with. Whether that means that half my family is currently in Afghanistan or whether it is a clear sunny day outside.

I have been criticised for not missing my family enough when they leave for long periods of time or not missing my friends who I won't see again but why should I? It is just not productive. That applies to my mood as well. I do not change my mood easily. It is not affected by the temperature or weather outside nor is it by the thoughts of loved ones. The other day my favourite radio presenter died. I felt slightly sad but why should I let that cloud my thoughts. He's gone and there's nothing anyone can do. Infact I honestly cannot remember the last time I cried. Maybe all that is a good thing. Maybe not but that's just me.

That is not to say I am completely heartless. I still have feelings, they are just kept in proportion to reality

I appreciate the sentiment although I don't need anyone telling me what to do with my life or how to feel. Thanks.

Edit: And I know how precious life is thank you very mch. I've experienced enough of it and have known friends & family to have lost it in the saddest of circumstances in my few years.

life is in missing hurting crying wanting and loving...
You can try to make a statue out if yourself by training yourself not to miss smile hurt or love but that would be the coward in you avoiding life. And it doesn't skip either. Times halts while life imprisons you. At the end it's still your life reflecting what you are.

Also dont lie to me because I know things. Lol.

That is your definition of life. You may judge me, it makes no difference to me since I am living my "life" not yours.

And what do you mean 'don't lie to me'?

Edit: And who says I am repressing feelings such as love, hurt, missing people or smiling? I still do this stuff but I do not ever let it take my "life" over. I do this naturally and not consiously. It is not as if I have all these bottled up emotions that are waiting to burst once I snap >.>

personal definitions are subjective hence called "personal". Not having a favorite season because one doesn't feel affected by his/her elsurrounfings has only one meaning and it's most definitely a personal one.
I know things because I am older than you and have seen of life more then have.

Hence I stated that it is your own definiton and one which you can define me by but that it would make no difference to me. Your second point is mute.

You have not lived my life. I always respect my elders regardless of who they are but that does not mean you have seen what I have. You have not felt what I have and you most probably never will. We are all induviduals and we all have different experiences of life. That is what makes us human. Hence you cannot specualte as to who I am or what experiences I have felt since you don't know much about me. Similarly I cannot do the same with regards to you. You have your life experiences and so have I. I assume that you have felt loss as have I. You have one way of dealing with life and I have another.

I am not in the business of pouring out my life story and listing my life experiences because a) that is completely sad on an online forum to a complete stranger and b) I feel no need to & do not suffer from a superiority complex regaqrding "my life is better than yours, i've seen more of the world than you so shut up boy".

This is not a competition. We all have seperate lives. But rest assured you cannot specualte my life because I guarantee it is completely different to yours. Whether you think otherwise is a matter of opinion.

                            Leave it at that.

I have never bothered myself with reading a post that long in a forum before and I m not about to make an exception now but sure thing. whatever you say kiddo.

Perhaps, in any case your statement reinforces my point.

                                It was nice talking.
