  • Season you like best

Personally I am someone who doesn't like extreme temps, so I like Spring best, and Autumn second best.

As well as wanting to know what season you like best, I would like to know what kind of place you would like to spend a month in.

Again, I like either a turbulent ocean setting......or somewhere in teh wilderness, above the timberline.

    City or rural?

I believe.....when our heart is happy........i love temperature of 40+ tooooo....and when my heart is sad, blooms of spring, or beauty of the rain, i dont like......

and with my loved ones i would love to be anywhere in this world, whether a rural or an urban area and without my loved one even the most beautiful place would be a hell for me.....

so when my heart is happy, even a sad autumn is spring for me and when i am sad even the blooms of spring is autumn for me.....so it depends on the state of my heart i guess.....may sound weird but it is like this for me.........

i live in such a cold area. some even refer to it as the north pole but i love winters. i love the way tree branches look when they have been freezing for months and then are piled over with snow flakes. and the sky looks so pretty when it's snowing at night.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

When you get used to living in -40C for 7 months a year your weather sense sort of just withers away

            I love Spring and Autumn

I love spring because of all our new plans and fruit trees are blooming. So my backyard smells like a mixture of flowers and fruit.

I love autumn because i love wearing warm clothing and boots. I love that the anaars and grapes at my house are ripe. So we always go and pick them. Plus really nice sunset in the fall.

But i also have to love the summer: San Francisco day trip, go to the beach, the boardwalk, go to the mall nearly every weekend, bbqs, vacation, etc.

I love Autumn. I remember when I was in elementary school the teacher would ask us what our favorite season was and I would always be the only one saying Autumn while the majority of the class would say summer. Its funny because I never felt a real dramatic Autumn until I was in college. I remember my first Autumn in college and it had to be one of the most magical things in the world. There were trees everywhere, and slowly all of them starting changing colors, the wind got a little stronger and it felt amazing walking around campus, with my boots on and a light sweater. =)
"Do not lose hope in adversity and complain that God singled you out for punishment, remitting others guilty of worse sins. Your present state could very well be His intent to elevate your spiritual station. Or He could just be testing your faith. Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus, your present despair may be the beginning of an infinite blessing". - Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.

What a beautiful description---where did you say you went/go to college, I think you mentioned it one time, but I do not remember exactly.....

Autumn - and that is because i love the color of the trees; the dry yellow, brownish leaves on the group, the light breeze, and the romantic atmosphere.

Autumn is beautiful in California. I love going to our park during this season, when the trees are mixture of green and yellow, and the leaves fall to the ground with every breeze, i like to sit on one of those empty benches next the side walks surounded with trees on both side... the side walk almost feels like its a never ending straight path... with trees falling on both side and I switching between a few minutes of walk and a few minutes of rest on the bench...

My heart feels as light as one of those leaves flying in the air...

I like winter and spring, don't like summer that much.
Don't like it too cold and too hot.

Autumn tops it for me. Everybody is usually in a jolly mood.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Because, Feroza_Bano loves automn so I don't like it. Hahaha kidding. My favourite is also automn then spring for the same reasons as others listed here i.e. the mild weather, the changing color of trees, etc.

i love winter it reminds me my childhood, when i would go out in the snow without warm clothes on me, my mother would scream at me that i might get sick i sould stay next to the fire. then winter is also the cleanest weather of the year.
