I was wondering if any one in here is familiar with a site that allows the setting of one's blog to be set as private so no one or a group of people aren't allowed to view it..? Is there such a thing?

Every blogging site has the privacy option but the problem with that isn't keeping people out it's about letting people read it..your friends will have to sign up with that website inorder to be able to view it since that is the only way they can block others from viewing your blog

I guess that is not what I want. My main concern is not viewing it.

Well if your primary concern is other people viewing it you can disable it from showing up on google..that way no one will be able to search it through google and you can just share the web address of your blog with your friends

If you want just your friends to see it follow these steps

Wordpress.com allows you to take it off google search

the thing is that when i write in a notebook sometimes when i go over it i either rip off the pages or lose it. i also like the way the font looks when something is posted online but i don't want any one viewing it. i used to have an online journal which i enjoyed a lot but then online journals became a trend so my desire for wanting to write went down the drain...i had to drop that habit..i don't know what i want to do about it. never mind i guess..

When your done writing, you can simply take screen shots of it. Why don't you use Microsoft word? Why does it have to be online?

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
