I can tell that what I've seen there was not so called democracy or human rights. Its rather cold blooded predatory capitalism creeping into veins of Afghans. Bureaucracy which was brought into the country is a given license to break laws for those who got the mighty dollar.
There is no transparency in politics or any other official channel. Everything is hidden no one is responsible.
However Kabul is flourishing, people open business, everyone is owning a shop, trading this and that, buy cars, there are millions of cars in AFG, there are construction companies everywhere all around Kabul, everything that you can find in the US or EU can also be found in AFG. People care about money. Its all about business. Of course they dont like America because Afghans has been used for so many years, they have lost their trust, they dont trust no one. But they aint supporting Taleban either because they dont want to live in chains. People told me that the time during Taleban regime was most dangerous and fearful time. People didnt feel safe during Taleban regime.
The most important thing is that business in AFG is growing, money is changing peoples mind rapidly but the mentality remains the same. World politics are very complex most Afghans dont even understand what its all about. Most people are illiterate and dont even know about simple things. People having a chair doing major business or politics abuse their power just to take advantage they dont care about their fellow Afghans. I didnt trust the police.
There are 600 candidates in Kabul Welayat for Wolasee Jirga. 500 of them aint even politicians they dont even have any official or administratory experience they just have money. Politics in AFG is no good. Money rules. This society is not going into the right direction.
