this reminds me of the time i made jackie eat a karaila also known as bittermelon. i told her it was a type of fruit. she seriously hated me for a good while.

lolzz I can't stand kaeraelae even when Mor jaanae cooks them and she is a great cook. It is just a fail food.

My answer will be different than simply saying no, it is haram or what so ever.
I am in favour of its control use, but not the way as it used in our society. It does not mean that it must be used, but if someone wants to use, then there must be a legal way to produce a quality chars and then also a legal way to use certain amount of it.
Then at least the charsian will have a quality chars.
