1. My dad always calls me by my brother's name.
2. My parents drink about 20 cups of tea a day on average.
3. They believe the proper time for brushing teeth is when you wake up.
4. My dad says there's no point eating anything unless its got meat in it.
5. He calls everyone including my mom "workay" or "zoy"/"zoya".
6. My mom has nothing to do with anything computer-related.
7. They always compare me their friend's kids, regardless of age.

9. My dad gets a few speeding tickets every week.
10. My mom is obsessed with cooking but never eats herself.

anyways,

my mom has always been treating us like guests on destarkhaan... she keeps telling us to eat... she keeps putting food on our plate... to a point where we get upset then she complains about unappreciative of her love we are...lol

* My mother finds the need to constantly call me, and she always asks if i have eaten anything or if i am hungry
*When my father says an English word, he feels the need to rhyme it ....and it doesnt even makes sense...

My dad never called my mom by her name...it was always Spogmai's mom....i have seen wives not calling their their husbands by name....but husbands??????

My mom compares me often with a girl in my neighbour hood....to an extent i asked my mom to adopt that girl.....lol

When you do something wrong and your parents are in bad mood then they curse the one you made mistake towards. When they switch over to good mood then they tell you it's actually your own fault.

They scold you for things you do while it's their habit to do those things daily themselves.

At least every week they start about how great Afghanistan used to be.

They always say they love all Afghans and respect all Afghans but when it comes to marrying off their daughters then they realize we are Pukhtoons, Hazaras, Tajiks and Uzbeks first, followed by Afghans.

When you want to do something they try to make you not do it till the extend you say 'okay, I give up'. And after you have given up they will say they wouldn't mind you doing whatever you wanted to do.
