Asalam-0- Alaikum my brave Pashtoon ladies and gentlemen

A question or a confusion is stuck not only in my mind but in the minds of many Muslims around the world.

Why is pakistan the only country who celebrates every eid alone?
why they never go with another islamic countries?
Middle east,Asia,Europe,America,Ausi.. almost every country in the world celebrate eid with Saudi arabia or wait for the instructions or guidance from the islamic scholars of Gulf so then why Pakistan never go with us?

How many of you guys living in pakistan celebrate the eid with Pakistan's government and why?

BTW.. Da tolo mashomano aw mashrano dai Akhtar mubarak shei

Da musafiro ba tsa akhtar wei kho bia ham rozchai mo neiwalei dei aw pakar da chei Akhtar wolmanzo

Different masjids go with different countries, I've asked this question before.. Pakistan do Eid according to the moon sighting in their own country, whereas most go with Saudi.

Even in Pakistan, it's not a collective story. Varying factions go for Eid separately. Peshawar is often out of sync with the rest of the country. But across the country, people want to celebrate Eid with their families, and I have known people in Pindi celebrating Eid on the day that Peshawar has declared Eid whilst everyone else was fasting. Across the country the sad thing is they can't even get together behind each other for Eid - Palwasha - living in England, you'll know how for you it might be Eid, but for your neighbours, they are waiting for news to come from Pakistan or their Grand Pir (a day later). Hardly a model example.

India and Pakistan together tend to agree on Eid and this perhaps describes more about shared roots of most the Muslims therein.

On a similar note, if you want peace and progress in South Asia - about time it happened - then begin with what you agree with - I think India and Pakistan should start their political rapprochement dialogues at the end of Ramadhan.

Oh yes, I know Peshawar do it separately, but I meant the country in general, whoever it is that officially declares it.

I wish I did have Muslim neighbours.. But I understand your point. However, unless it's with their masjids, I don't know very many Pakistani's here that do it in accordance to their relatives back home, how strange. Oh, and pirs..

India and Pakistan together tend to agree on Eid and this perhaps describes more about shared roots of most the Muslims therein.

Correction, amreeka is divided into three powers. The last one says we searched for moon and didn't find it at the beginning of Ramadaan so it might be either Friday or Saturday (that's our masjid btw )

Yeah, Pakistan can be weird at times :P
I desire that which is Just - House of Dukemina.

its always been this way... In India Eid is celebrated with Pakistan......when we had Ptv....we use to turn on the tv and see what has been declared in Pakistan and we use to celebrate it accordingly...of late its happening that same country but eid celebrated on different days.... Maulanas u see.....they decide more than the moon... who really judges our patience at this time....

here Eid is likely to be on Friday........

if the maulana's partooq doesnt get stitched on time could be on saturday.....lol
