is not the Muslim faith until he loves the Prophet peace be upon him, and even the Prophet peace be upon him loved him from his father and his son and himself, and all people. Anas said: The Prophet, peace be upon him: (None of you believes until I am dearer to him than his father and his son, and all people) Bukhari (15) and Muslim (44).

وعن عبد الله بن هشام قال : كنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو آخذ بيد عمر بن الخطاب ، فقال له عمر: يا رسول الله ، لأنت أحب إلي من كل شيء ، إلا من نفسي . فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( لا والذي نفسي بيده حتى أكون أحب إليك من نفسك ) فقال له عمر : فإنه الآن والله لأنت أحب إلي من نفسي . فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( الآن يا عمر ) رواه البخاري ( 6257 ) .
