PEACE! I was curious as I have seen a couple of the girls of the avatars in immodest and obscene roles.

So does this mean you object to using certain actresses as avatars? So for example this pic of Angelina Jolie would be bad even though she looks very decent here
because of her "immodest & obscene roles?

I just want to understand why this has bothered two men here so much to start threads about it. Or are the objections to Indian actresses or to pics of women not wearing hijab? Both of you who started these threads were a little vague as to what you meant? I am not upset at all so no need to worry for my health lol but yes I really am shocked it was brought up again.

I did not know I was repeating a thread, i already said that.I also did not know you will steal into the Hujra with a stick in your hand. I just wondered ,whether Pashtane should idolize Indian actresses of suspicious characters? I do not believe in Hijab, i am not a male chuvenist either.I am sorry If you are hurt. In all fairness many of us do not watch Indian movies so we just see a girls pic I feel certain that the girls who chose Indian actresses of "objectionable" character have no idea that that particular actress has a bad reputation so the nice thing would be to let them know why you think it's inappropriate. I assure that most would change their pic if they knew it was offensive to someone here or if they realized they might be giving a bad impression of themselves by using a certain persons pic I'm not agitated I just am surprised it bothered some people so much. There is nothing wrong with giving your opinion. I just was trying to figure out what exactly you guys were complaining about.

Thank you My avatar is of an IDP child whose family had fled from the Swat valley. I was very moved by the IDP crisis in Pakistan & wrote many poems about it. This pic is special to me because she is smiling & looks hopeful despite the hardships she has endured

I don't give much thought to anyone else's avatar but if I were to see one that I felt was objectionable I'd let them know privately why I felt that way and I am sure if anyone were to use a very offensive avatar the moderators would take care of it . Why do you chose to NOT have an avatar?
