But sometimes i have seen parents become too possessive and then ruins the children future....there needs to be a balance and like you cannot put too many hurdles/obstacles in getting your children married. That is wrong. I never said parents should just say yes to every offer

And not always the parents make the right decisions...again i can list many times i have seen. Back home parents want their daughter to get married to a Doctor or Engineer, or from a big family (rich and so on) or wid a foreign passport...they are not things that mean husband will be good..

        Both comments are very true.

I definitely agree that the whole marrying process has been unecessarily overcomplicated, but that's just the times.

Look at the way Islam makes marriage easy, you speak to every single person these days and they all are finding it extremely hard to get married. So why make everybody get so old till they marry??? It doesn't benefit anyone

I guess it's why so many turn to pre-marital relationships. However, nowadays the guy has to be standing on his own feet so he can provide for her, rather than rushing into things. Although, that doesn't mean the nikkah can't be done, so a permissible relationship can form and neither person will feel be under pressure of the temptations of pre-marital relationships.

One of my friend married at 21 years old a bit rushed, coz if he didnt marry the girl then the family were gonna marry the girl to some rich guy (coz she is from a rich family) and the guy (was not poor but not as rich)...so both got married and he got a proper job just after his marriage. And now they are fine....families made it so difficult for him on both sides, it is so sad...even though the guy i knew was the most decent guy u could find and same with the girl!

he said in my work place there is so much fitnah if he hadn't got married he might have got involved in bad stuff....so yea it does lead to pre-marital relationships..wat would u rather want? Marriage or zina?? I think i would prefer my children to get married when they can and not be so fussy, of course main thing is their character and if they can support them later on.

But our people do not make marriage an easy thing at all...

^ MARRIAGE IS NOT A CHAIN TO PREVENT YOU FROM ZINAH IF YOUR MIND IS SET ON THE IDEA. AT LEAST I HOPE NO ONE Is THAT DESPERATE OR BARBARIC. WAY TO STOMP ON THE IDEA OF A WOMAN NOT BEING A SEX ITEM. YOUR WIFE SHOULD BE SOME ONE YOU LOVE AND RESPECT. NOT A LAWFUL ALTERNATIVE FOR YOUR INTENTIONS OF ZINAH.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Sorry but who said woman is an object? You fail to understand that part of marriage is to fulfil your desires and if you are not a human then maybe u will discard that part...nobody is an animal for wanting to fulfil their desires, how could u say such a thing??

no because my kids will not be thinking of stuff like that at any point of their life. there is such a thing as self control. hormones are not that hard to over rule.
