  • Where is everyone?

Several years ago this forum had a lot of traffic.

There was a lot of heated arguments that sometimes made way to civil debate.

What happened? I got busy and I kind of stopped posting for a while but there were still plenty of active users here.

And Catya Sher was funny, what happened to her? I think she was a provocateur. She used to PM me and talk about how I should go to Fletcher School of Diplomacy or something, and she would keep asking me all these personal questions.

    LOL those were the days.

Is it only here or other forums? I gravitated here because afghansite died out. I doubt there is a successor to pashtunforums or no one else told me if there is. I think people have grown up and had families and all that adult stuff which I don’t do lol.

I know forums haven’t died out because there are many active ones in different niches like sports or video games.

But I remember the good old days, good times. Props to admin for keeping it alive.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The internet moved on from forums, most people argue on Facebook nowadays.

Actually, there are still a few places back left.

Like this discord called "pakhtunwa": http://www.pashtunforums.com/hujra-/...n-dicoord.html

There are member there from PF like Elias, Traveller and afghanfootball(if not more).

Also, just like rightwing pahstun mentions, there's also reddit as well.

              We are still here.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Are there any investment bankers/financial analysts here?
