^ seems like most of the respected elders and wise users are pro topic.. 2 ppl who are not seniors are against the topic and da idea.. the rest 39 negative votes came from guests... (which is not that necessary)
I am waiting for admin khan, yousufzai pakhton, yousufzai and other senior member to come and share their views.....

I second this idea. However, Angaar does this apply to chit chat only or debates as well? Pa Pashto key debates lazh zor ghwaray due to our dialects.

If I start speaking in my dialect. Many will be looking for a Pashto dictionary.

I admire your idea and efforts. Angaara, da PF zra ya, zra!
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

If you start in ur own dialect, it will be even better because you will be posting something with its translation in english .. ppl will learn qandari, swati, afridi, katawazi, laghmani and other pashto dialetcs.

It will apply to all the sections..
Those who dont want to participate can stay away we wont stop them from writing in english.. Its only for those people who are interested to write, respect and try to teach other pashtons about their dialects and about their language...

every post which will be posted in pashto will have its translation in english.

I am sure it will work and will drag more and more users to get interested in this forum,Plus it will show that we are in pashtunforum not Englishforum
Lets sacrifice one day a week for our pashto language and put a little bit pressure on ourselves for typing 2 times in each topic we reply...

It will start on friday and end on saturday Wherever you live and its friday, you wil have to post in pashto with its english meaning.

I am willing that oneday everyone in pashtunforum will talk in pashto instead of English.
Our younger generation who come here to learn about their language wont be disappointed by finding this forum as another english forum named pashtunforum.

                                Asalaam.

                                Nice thinking Angaar.

I think it'd be a good idea to write translation alongside the Pashto, therefore not everyone will be left out. Also writing in a Pashto font wouldn't be a bad idea either, people should choose what they're comfortable with.

In both these ways people are forced to learn, and this will only be of benefit to the community, InshAllah.
