Pretty sad documentary. These things usually like to tell a complete story, so the way it ends basically tells us that they failed to make any progress over the filming.

The lack of safety has been a huge problem ever since America invaded. One of the main talking points of Taliban supporters has been the consistent lack of security, and the government should make this one of their main focuses.

But since the kidnappers are most likely connected to people in the government themselves, we probably wont see any resolution to the issue.

The journalist lady is saying that these people are nostalgic with the taliban's brutal rule. Its not brutal, its justice if thats what they want and crave.
All the victims miss the Taliban.

I hear now kidnapping is so rampant that people are asking for a $2000 ransom. People also steal license plates and ask for $400-$500 for the return. Its very hard to get another license plate. The fees and waiting time is intentionally too high and long cause the guys that run the motor vehicle department are all stealing money.

America has created a hell for Afghans.
