I had a weird dream last night....
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Between 1815 and 1914 the world had a century of peace and stability. Nations solved their problems through negotiations thanks to the Congress System. Trade skyrocketed. Leaders got along and had a nice relationship (there are pictures of smiling kings hanging out together). This period was called Pax Britannic. And it ended in 1914.. the same year started WWI.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostI had a weird dream ....I think it hints at turmoil brewing ....not just what we're already used to ...but a massive one.
Nowadays we are going through the same experiences: almost 60 years of relative peace, problems solved through UN, trade and interconnection are stronger than ever, leaders seem to get along,.. its the Pax Americana. And its dying.
I am having the same dreams, Iblis for over a year now. I have panic attacks on a regular basis. Its the price I have to pay for trying to be aware of the ugliness of our world. I dont want to rely on my dreams but rather history, facts and human nature. Something bad is brewing. There is too much hatred, frustration and people who have nothing to lose.
Our world is dying and a new world is about to born. In between its the time of the monsters. We should expect the worst."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

Okay so what I remember in my dream was that the sky was a really odd color, like something you might see if you played with a TV console's color settings. But everything looked really dead. Not quite destroyed, but "dead" ....I kept finding dead animals ....like a dead deer, ....dead bird ....dead squirrells ....
I only saw one person and they just looked heart broken .....and no TV channels were on when I tried to look at a TV...no cars in the road either.

Its pretty obvious you are talking about a nuclear holocaust. I believe this happen due to suggestion. Those people raised in Abrahamic faiths, whether religious or not, have this DoomsDay rooted in their psyche. A Nuclear Holocaust reminds of us of Qyaamat, thats what makes us so anxious.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostOkay so what I remember in my dream was that the sky was a really odd color, like something you might see if you played with a TV console's color settings. Still we need to take this nuclear war with a grain of salt. Not all nukes are the same. In case of war and nuclear escalation, nuclear countries would use tactical nukes targeting military bases, battle fronts, etc. I believe the use of strategic nukes is unlikely."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,
