      Pakistanis claiming to be afghan. Are they hoping to get asylum or are they compensating their inferiority complex?

      I came once across a punjabi claiming being khosti. He was a real punjabi with all the phenotypical features and the Indian accent. He was probably 40 or something but couldn't speak pashto.

        Hilarious. This is a prime example of Pakistani inferiority complex.
        Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

        A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

        For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

        The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

            Sikandar Lodi was a "Pakhtun-Punjabi" ruler according to the same some dude on defence.pk. Sultan Sikander Lodi, the Pakhtun-Punjabi ruler

            My this factual response made the op very uncomfortable ; indic blood admixture was not held in high regard

            Excerpt from book "The History of Afghans in India, 1545-1630" by M.A.Rahim ;

            "The Afghans detested marriage with non-Afghans. Intermarriage should in exceptional cases take place. The Afghans, however, denied the children of such marriages the status of a pure born Afghan. Islam Shah Ludi preferred his nephew Bahlul to his son Qutb Khan to be his successor as the latter was born of a non-Afghan mother, and would not have been acceptable to the Afghans. In 1561 on his way to Makkah, Bairam Khan halted at Patan and arranged the betrothal of his son Abd al-Rahim with a daughter of Islam Shah. The news of this betrothal displeased the Afghans and they killed him.

                From that Ahmad Shah Baba thread:

                Man these people are dumb. How can they possibly be so oblivious to reality?

                And what’s with them always referring to Pashtuns as “Pakhtun” or “Pathan”? Is that just another dumb attempt at trying to make lar and bar Pashtuns separate races?

                  Nah they're still here lurking and posing as Afghans, this should smoke them out however lol.

                  Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

                    They're trying to manufacture history to reinforce an indoctrination of their national narrative. The claim that Bangladeshis were the oppressors in 1971 was hilarious.

                    lol
