Of course dude, even for south Europeans blonde and especially red hair isn't common at all (red is very rare). I remember going to badakhshan, baghlan, kunar and I saw people with hair red/blonde and more bright than I see anyone in this country (no joke) and it was very common in those areas. Ur from Kandahar so its a bit more rare to see adults with red hair due to the heat in Kandahar but it's probably very common among kids. A lot more people in Britain in have it but usually it's very dull blonde hair and just plain, those afghan people I saw in those areas had the craziest combinations of hair colour, (and it was NOT henna).Originally posted by jama0112 View PostWell, whatever you say. Yeah, but the thing is it isn't very warm here in Denmark, so my parents and uncles/aunts aren't brown becaue heat. kandaharis(well, at least my family) are mostly brown. It's just so weird to hear other afghan pahstuns here describing their looks like light-skinned middleeasterns, who never been guessed as pakis and even insults/insulted firdousi for him being browner. My aunt who's mother to my cousin, who probably looks like a very light syrian, looks like a pamiri and her two twin daughter look very caucasian and light-skinned tajikstanis. I don't know they look like that the fact that their mother's from helmand. But then, i have another aunt from helmad, who look...well, it's really hard to classify her. I assume paki but she doesn't look like she belongs to a race i ever have seen, despite her being afghan pahstun. But her son look very paki punjabi(dad's a pahstun too), so myabe not.
Listen here, i'm not trying to make pahstuns look way darker than people think here. I'm just not used to us being lighter, even though my brother got confused for a kurd by an actual kurd. But i always have seen us as a brown people(which we are though). I'm just gonna keep with us being very diverse.

Don't worry bro of course not all pashtuns are white lol. Those in kandahar and Helmand tend to be darker than those in the north like khosg paktia, kunar mainly because of weather, not all pamiris are light as well they have variation, same goes for kurds I have seen Indian looking kurds and Iranians, remember we are in the centre of Asian, a lot of mixinf has occurred. But we can't deny that most pashtuns are light in the majority, even kandaharis are not really that dark and have obvious features that makes them look distinct from Pakis and indics and middle easterns etc. Something that someone on this forum said was that westerners are clueless, they will guess even the lightest middle eastern, as Arabs, Pakis, syrians, when they are kurd afghan or tajikOriginally posted by jama0112 View PostYeah, but the thing is it isn't very warm here in Denmark, so my parents and uncles/aunts aren't brown becaue heat. kandaharis(well, at least my family) are mostly brown. I don't know what you mean by getting offended. What I have done is call out something you commented that is clear bull**** and reflective that you are NOT from Afghanistan.Originally posted by jamakzai1221 View PostHow dude I don't understand why u got offended because I said I saw a few kurds that look indian??? That's not offense, that's honing in on someone posing and thinking no one will notice.

And anyways dude I my self find it really hard to distinguish between kurds Iranians and afghand since they are iranids, but I do want to point out that iranics can vary from Mongols looking to Arabs looking to indic looking but those are a very small minority, that's why I said what I said.Originally posted by jamakzai1221 View PostWhat's bull**** and tell me why it's bull**** so I can understand ur perspective because it is really confusing me.
