You can't expect people to be happy when someone claims someone else's identity. I have only seen Indians try to claim afghans (or sometimes tajiks), us afghans have always been people, proud of our history, proud of being named "graveyard of empires" that's why we get annoyed when Indians try to claim afghans used to be "Hindus" because indians can't accept being Indians or when Indians try to say that they have afghan ancestry.
