  • Foriegn-funded feminists like Gulalali Ismail on mission of "liberating" Pashtunwomen

This is years old video of Gulalai Ismail, an ANP affiliated Pashtun feminist from Swabi who has earned some awards (recently she won Anna Politkovskaya Award)....easiest way to earn awards and lot of funds from west is to do presentations like this. Even Chel or Parony of Swabi is bothersome for these western stooges...... i am all for women rights but fck your western culture.....

You had it right until your last sentence where you unzipped yourself and took a piss over a very good point.
It is in vain to think of a wilderness distance from the heart.

I support women's rights but I feel that Pashtun society isn't ready for that kind of stuff. There would be a huge backlash to it due to how incredibly tribal and conservative Pashtun people are. Peshawar got liberalized to a large extent naturally without Western funded feminists. The same could happen in Swabi and other regions. Speeding up the process of this when almost all Swabiwal females are against this seems like a very unwise thing to do.

The bigger a dawoos you are, the more the West will love you. Especially if you come from a culture that hasn't widely embraced the dawoosi way. And especially if you're not "privileged," i.e. a woman, gay, trans, minority, atheist, etc.

She's right about one thing, and that's that traditional outerwear for women in Muslim societies is designed to exclude them. Yes, it's absolutely meant to exclude them from male society, and the gaze of foreign men, because male and female society are meant to be separate, and because no good comes from foreign men and women mixing. There's no benefit to forcing women out of their homes and into the workplace, other than increasing the labor pool for capitalists to become even richer and destroy the world even quicker. Why should foreign men be able to look at women?

The way to improve the lives of women is not to pretend they're men and force them to act like them, it's to solve the issues that women actually face. "Stop being a mother and start working" didn't solve the problems of Western women, and it won't solve the problems of women anywhere else.

This reminds me of something said by a British traveler and later statesman by the name of George Curzon. Regarding the women of Bukhara, he said:

"I have frequently been asked since my return - it is the question which an Englishman always seems to ask first - what the women of Bokhara were like? I am utterly unable to say. I never saw the features of one between the ages of ten and fifty. The little girls ran about unveiled, in loose silk frocks, and wore their hair in long plaits escaping from a tiny skull-cap. Similarly the old hags were allowed to exhibit their innocuous charms, on the ground, I suppose, that they could excite no dangerous emotions. But the bulk of the female population were veiled in a manner that defied and even repelled scrutiny. For not only were the features concealed behind a heavy black horsehair veil, falling from the top of the head to the bosom, but their figures were loosely wrapped up in big blue cotton dressing-gowns, the sleeves of which are not used but are pinned together over the shoulders at the back and hang down to the ground, where under this shapeless mass of drapery appear a pair of feet encased in big leather boots."
The kuffar fooled us into thinking that they seek the emancipation of women, when all they really are is a bunch of perverted guys who want to be able to ogle and sleep with as many women as possible. When Muslims still had their izat and namus, they knew not to trust these people, and that they were backwards and stupid. But nowadays we are desperate to become as degenerate as they are, and to debase ourselves like they do.

What do you think was the purpose of her demonstration in the video? , She is arguing that covering body like this limits the mobility of women i.e they have difficulty in movements , are uncomfortable (She is using the same arguments which are used against shuttlecok Burqa ). Now 'chel' or any other mode of Hijab is for covering angles and curves of female body, as ordained by our religion. If you ignore religion and norms of Pashtun society and argue that all Pashtun women should get rid of any mode of hijab, even if it is as light as chel of Swabi, just because if it is suffocating for you........then such woman should walk nude so that she can walk with full mobility and comfort.

As one can see these western stooges are not just o.k with getting rid of Burqa (which is cultural thing rather than Islamic) but also any Islamic mode of clothing.....western feminism has no place in Pashtun society. If some girl/woman does not want to do hijab and want to walk around sar-tor, then its o.k but if she is receiving dollars from western NGOs for "liberating" Pashtun females from Hijab then she must be stopped, in fact she must be arrested by the state and trialed for apostasy and fasad-fil-arz.

i still think your view is a bit harsh but since you do agree that it should not be forced then i cant say much against your pov.

in our society its not that they are being forced to go out and work etc but rather many of them are forced to stay home and get married. We should be looking to solve the issues that actually affect us not something that has barely any influence in our part of the world like 'western feminism' (i think the term you guys are looking for is already coined as white feminism)

Malang wror this 32 year old woman is not a na pohya little girl.....she is very active activist who runs an NGO by name of Aware Girls.......those who live in Pakistan know very well that easy way of making lot of money is founding NGOs like this and exploits the serious issues in cartoonish way just for dollars. NGOs funded by West are awfully lot active in Pakhtunkhwa region than any where else in Pakistan and simpleton Pashtuns have as usual no idea what kind of game is played with them. This Gulali Ismail and other west-funded (both males and females) are up to no good.

As far the language, i was trying to make a point. At another place she is arguing that woman has right to have full control over her body and right to wear what and how much. Did she has the "courage" to ask women in Swabi to walk around naked in the hot summer? will she be comfortable with exposing her breasts to the public?. If she is uncomfortable in exposing her breast to the public then she fully understands that women in her area waer chel because they are uncomfortable in exposing their body angles/curves to men on street . But as i already explained, she is on the agenda of west and she is going to push her agenda even if she smells the stink of her bullshyt.

As i already explained , i am no moral police. If some individual Muslim woman want to wear western dress, or is dancing , or prostituting.......i have no problems with her. But if some NGO is making an issue out of non-issue , then i have problems with it and its chairperson.

And here we go once again with the Western narrative. What do you id*ots mean by "Muslims are not ready for feminism/democracy? You see, in Iraq or Afghanistan, when there is a democratic election, people partake massively although they know very well that a suicide attack will happen. They know that plenty of human beings will die and still they vote. How many of these effeminate arrogant democracy-lover Westerners would even dare to get out and vote if there was a terorirst attack warning????

Liberalism is a feminine ideology by nature. One of the main reasons it opposes religion its because religions, especially Abrahamic faiths, are patriarchal. Patriarchy is the natural social order. Men rule societies not because we like to oppress women because we are stronger and smarter. Men founded the first human civilizations. It was men who invented philosophy, agriculture, trade, science, medicine, war, peace, poetry, technology,.. it was men who explored, modernized and globalized the world. It was men who started the space program. I could go on but I believe you all got my point.

Liberalism has successfully managed to destroy Christianity in the West and replace it as the main religion. Because Liberalism is a religion right now, or at least operates as one. Just dare to say anything against a minority, feminism or democracy, and Westerners will lose their mind.

Now that the West has been successfully destroyed and brought into submission, Islam is the next target. Because the Islamic world is the last stronghold of masculinity. Liberalism wants to destroy us and turn us into effeminate beta males. West wasted billions in Afghanistan in order to build a feminist, liberal and gay society, but still failed. War on Islam is a war on virility, masculinity and manhood. Beware of feminism.

Its the same f^cking narrative, dude. "We are not ready for feminism" as feminism is something so especial that you need a especial brain to understand it.

Feminism wants gender equality but this makes absolutely no sense because men and women are biologically, genetically, physically and emotionally different. There is no and there will be no gender equality because it doesn't exist.

Also feminism is obsessed with destroying men and societies.. Its like saying that you like cancer although it harms your body and health. Please, use your brain. Its free.

Meh, even if you don't support Western feminism, the state of women in Pashtun societies is pretty abysmal and does need a lot of improvement.

I agree that shes beeing cringey and beinf a total wannabe cracker and all that **** but i find it straight up retarded to call it foreign funding and to blame feminism for it.
Foreign funding is kind of an easy way to blame all the idiocy of our society on and altho it does happen alot this is the kind of stuff where i think its kinda dumb to say that its foriegn funding cuz shes clearly just a cringey liberal and no amount of foriegn funding could make any person kiss that much western ass and most of these people are often just naturally born asskissers.
Now a thing im finding here on this thread is a lot of dudes lashing out against feminism but at the same time saying "im all for womens rights" and i find this kinda dumb too. Feminism literally stands for womens rights and altho these cringey liberal fencesitters equate it to equal rights between men and women but it aint(a good example of this is the many feminist groups who demand free sanitary products cuz dudes definitly dont need that).
But yeah this gal is super cringe and if swabiwal women have such a problem with sadars and parooni they should try topai burkas. They are easy to use and make you look prety badass as well(as a child they reminded me of those gladiator helmets).
