My father and grandfather have spent time in Afghanistan but I have only been around KPK and other parts of Pakistan. My only exposure to modern Afghan culture was through Afghans living Pakistan.

Your Spanish is not bad but you make this mistake that is quite common among English-speakers: verbs "ser" and "estar" are not the same thing. In English you can use the verb "to be" for both, but in Spanish "ser" means being something. "Yo soy una buena person"= "I am a good person", while "estar" means "being somewhere: "Yo estoy en Barcelona"="I am in Barcelona". Brits, Aussies and Americans struggle to differentiate between "ser" and "estar", but its complicated basically because Spanish verbs are very difficult to conjugate while English verbs are much easier.

BTW stop smoking weed. Its bad for your health and makes you spiritually and mentally weak. Just saying.

Thank you, you have a good knowledge of Spanish grammar. I haven't actually studied Spanish to the extent that I have studied French or even Pashto but I am quite comfortable speaking it because there have been times when I was literally forced to speak it to communicate lol but I basically picked it up passively. Normally I speak a different type of Spanish which is basically how the rappers talk lol and yes ser and estar - I think I'm better at differentiating between the two now than I was when I first started speaking Spanish. The conjugation it is very complicated. Another thing I don't know is when to use e for and instead of y.

I am trying to cut down tbh but its difficult because I have been doing it for years. The only way I can not smoke week is if I go to Dubai for a while lol.

But in Spanish "i" and "y" sound the same way except in those cases I pointed out before.

I am better understood in the southern part of Spain (Andalucia and the Canary Islands) than in Barcelona. However, I generally tend to use American words instead of the European Spanish equivalents (celular instead of movil etc) and also Puerto Rican and Mexican street slang.

I disapprove of all drugs except those derived from the cannabis plant.

In Pakistan hashish is illegal (excpet FATA) but the cannabis itself is not prohibited. In fact its considered an endemic invasive species. They can't stop anyone from harvesting or consuming those plants but there may be restrictions of purposefully planting the commercial varieties.
