My grandparents could speak Pashto (paternal grandparents) and Dari (both maternal and paternal and my father when he was younger, my mother apparently also studied it). However, now my parents only know Dari and Pashto passively. They speak Hindi/Urdu and English.

Lol some parts of it might not be believable.

For example, a jinn had blessed one of my ancestors who was an 'alim (because apparently he taught the jinn how to read the Qur'an) and so 7 generations of my family were protected by the jinn but I am, unfortunately, the 8th generation lol so I'm not covered by jinn insurance
