7 week Visa to Afghanistan

Hello there,

I'd like to receive a visa to Afghanistan, to travel and have a taste of the country, Kabul, Bande-Amir, Panjshir mountains and mosques of course, I'd like to know if I need a letter of invitation from an organistaion or a person, a few years ago I was curious about it and someone here told me that you need a letter from an Afghan citizen to get a travel visa.

Is this still the case (if it ever was true)? Any more details? Are there nationalities that cannot enter Afghanistan?

It really depends on where you are travelling from. I also don't think it's a good idea to be travelling to Afghanistan unless you can rely on someone who is an active resident of the country.

You don't need sh*t other than the ability to fill an application form and pay fees.

Get a hold of the Afghan embsssy there or the ministry of foreign affairs if there is no Afghan embassy.
