How many of yall have this practice in your weddings? Turns out not everyone has it and even i didnt know about it till i went for my cousins wedding in our village once.
Anyways what are the practices yall have in your weddings etc. Or even in other gatherings and stuff. Im curious.

Why don't you describe what it is and then we see if we have our version of it or not. What do they do?? The groom has to climb over some fancy bed??

Its basically the groom climbing on a bed(the kaliwal charpai mostly) and they kinda throw it up in the air(kinda like people do with babies you know) and they sometimes do it till the bed breaks and stuff so.

We don't do it but I know some Pashtun tribes who do this, interestingly Berber North Africans also do this.

Its part of the Jewish wedding traditions too. I think they do that to the bride too.
