I think he is Kurdish as he says he is from western Azerbaijan province.
As if we didn't have enough to deal with already. Seems like there is something happening in the background that we don't know about just yet.

I saw this on the news the other day and ever since I heard his "confession", I am convinced that he is not an Irani. He looks Kurdish but he does not sound like an Irani. Iranies have a thick Persian accent which is pretty much non existent in this guy.
