  • How long is your roja(fast)?

With Ramadan around the corner , it would be interesting to find out how many hours long the fasts are for different members, all around the world.
For me here in Islamabad , the roja(fast) will be around 16-16.5 hours.
Do mention your location also , if you want.

You are right. It's either 18.5 or 19 hours. I should have known better since last year it was 20 or 21 hours. I don't know what I was looking at the other day.

Why are people of the older generations (as in, your age), are able to fall asleep so easily?? You guys can sleep anywhere. In the train, in front of the television, with sun shining right in front of your faces.. what is the secret?? If I see light or hear the cat meow somewhere in the house, I am done with sleep.

Lol, I am not seventy or anywhere close to that , so I wouldn't say that people of my age just drop to sleep anywhere. That short sleep,in the train or in the waiting room, which oldies tend to do,is not that useful or rejuvenating , in my opinion.
The younger you are , the better and longer you can sleep.Children and teenagers fall asleep easily,I think.
I think you are having some sleep issues, if such a small disturbance robs you off sleep.

In my case though , since I don't work a 'job' ,and don't have to be there at specific timings , so I can adjust my day well enough to get enough sleep in Ramzan.
