      How recent are these roots? Could maybe show up in an autosomal ancestry test.

        By DNA test although with some coplications.
        By ancestral history, if he knows any!?
        Tajik aren't that patrilineal and included many multiehnic groups, so that on deeper history it isn't easy to search unless you don't know a bit of family history
