As an outsider Punjabi culture is very weird but at times amusing to me, regarding the video nothing can beat the sufis of Chechnya, those guys go into some special trance.

I heard Sufism is still pretty big in kandahar and herat, can anyone confirm?

I prefer this to Naats and shrill screaming Mullahs. People are just having a good time.

I used to participate in minad un nabi jaloos, I don't remember dance like these. Minad ul nabi usually look like this in punjab.

EID MILAD UN NABI (BHAGO-KHARIAN) - YouTube
DHA LAHORE EID MILAD UN NABI JALOOS 215 - YouTube

Videos posted by samandari are from Karachi, typical. I mean punjabis can't dance like that, they are more in to bhangra. Plus many of these videos are of weddings with minad un nabi title uploaded by wahabi *******s.

He has Punjab phobia . If something goes wrong in Germany he would probably link it back to Punjab

I find TV Especially from pakistan presents quite a vulgar extravaganza on this day that is/should be evoked for extra recitation of the Quran and facts originating from Mohammad (S). The whatsap messages I recieved today ranged from flashing lights like a christmas tree to crass rotating letters again reminescent of cheaper christmas messages bombarded on western TV. I am sure pakistan tv isn't the lone culprit.

These videos are I think mostly posted by extremist deo bandis, ahle hadees and their gang to defame Barelvis. Most likely these videos are taken from local parties or whatever and then titled as Eid Milad un Nabi to score points against Barelvis. There are people who sing and dance during Milad un Nabi but the songs are usually about the prophet pbuh and not some bollywood number. This is another manifestation of Desi schism and one of their internal problems which Pashtuns shouldn't be a part of.
