Use some brain cells for a change, of course they will look little different after some centuries of separation. Do you think karachi pakhtuns will look like today after next 100 years living in Karachi among urdu speakers?Originally posted by Kakar-Wardak View PostThey don't look like us pashtuns, some claim to be mughlas, others Persians, some arabs and some Pashtuns, but to me they look like hindus.

Yes they will because they won't marry these dirty biharis, there are 6 million pashtuns in karachi, they won't be assimilated.Originally posted by dawn View PostUse some brain cells for a change, of course they will look little different after some centuries of separation. I should actually make this clear now, for any member that reads my comments. I'm not a supporter of Pak Military. Never was. Never will be. My purpose is to put Karachi in his place as a miserable little twat who picks on Punjabis to make himself look good in front of his masters (Pashtuns/Afghans). Pashtuns and all other Afghans have a legitimate concern with Pak Military, its interests in Afghanistan, Pashtun areas, sucking up Baluch resources ALL of which I confide are legit threats to the region.Originally posted by dawn View PostWell punjabi danda is for everyone including BLA. Picking up a bunch of thugs like the MQM, after they, for no reason, decided to go against the state is not a matter of mourning. Mohajirs are not oppressed. They created Pakistan. They uttered the words 'Pak istan' for the first time. They betrayed Gandhi and Nehru. They imposed Urdu on other ethnics and considered all of them to be 'inferior'. To them, Punjabis were Jaahils and Pathans were barbarians, Sindhis and Baluch were too low down to ever be considered human to them. Now, they're smelling the coffee. It's their fault this has all happened.

Stop writing propaganda against Pak army, they are not oppressing any baloch or pakhtun. Do you think 2nd largest ethnic group in army is somehow oppressed by same organisation? No! FATA people need to come in to mainstream. Baloch people need to come out of their saardar shadows. There is no chance in hell of Pakistan ever giving inch to these silly little internal conflicts which will always be there no matter what.Originally posted by Porus View PostI should actually make this clear now, for any member that reads my comments. If they assimilated despite being in position of power in UP/Bihar then what it's stopping them now in Karachi. The truth is 95% of them are hindu converts, maybe like 5% of them have Foreign blood. If An uzbek moves to india and keeps marrying within his ethnicity his kids will not look like apus same way pashtuns will not look like altaf hussain as long as they marry within their own ethnicity.Originally posted by dawn View PostIf they assimilated despite being in position of power in UP/Bihar then what it's stopping them now in Karachi. MQM are certainly thuggish. However, I don't see how you're conflating them with the creators of Pakistan. Also, the creators didn't betray gandhi and nehru, they worked hard to create an independent state. But what's so special about gandhi and nehru? Were they a bunch of Saints or something?Originally posted by Porus View PostPicking up a bunch of thugs like the MQM, after they, for no reason, decided to go against the state is not a matter of mourning. Also, you as a "white punjabi" should be grateful for pakistan for another reason: as bad as it sounds, you would surely be a lot less white had we been unified with India. There's also question marks about how much of the living standard you enjoyed, in Pakistan, would've been available to you (vs some hindu/sikh/jain) if we were part of India. The Mohajirs that got independence got you these 2 things at least.
Yes pakistan sucks, but that entire region sucks. I don't think I'd be okay with living in a unified India. It's hellish enough that indian movies and TV shows are (were?) flooding the place.
I remember during the early days of Musharraf, there was some spat with India (very similar to the **** you're seeing these days actually), and he decided to ban indian channels from cable TV. I was SO grateful. It was probably one of the best things to ever happen. We finally got decent channels, and I got to see some TV shows, watch movies, and listen to music that I truly enjoyed. What a horrible viewing experience indian channels were. Utter garbage. **** that ****... no way am I willing to join hands with India and be bombarded with Zee tatti and Zee susu and brand new zee channels left right and center. Forget it.
The worst was MTV india. Nothing but indian music. Nothing else at all. I could've missed out on all the great 90s and early 2000s rock/metal music if the ban didn't transpire. Sad part is many dumbass Pakistanis enjoyed that Indian ****. I even remember when star plus decided to become hindi garbage. They had all these ads etc. I hate those dumb animals. They have 0 original content, everything they make (which is already ripping something else off) is ruined and trash, and they talk as if they're such up and coming people. Ugh... such garbage. This is also why I don't like punju culture either. It's too similar to indiot ****. They sound the same, they look the same, their brains are molded by the same trashy indiot media.

The Mohajirs created Pakistan, they asked for Pakistan, while the Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Baloch and Sindhis watched it happen, big difference. 1. I don't care about the colour of my skin. I don't know why anyone should, or would. 2. More Muslims die in Pakistan than they do in 'Hindu-dominated India'. India provides rights and freedoms to Muslims and tackles terrorist groups accordingly, Pakistan doesn't. Big difference. Biggest bone to pick with Pakistan I have is that it doesn't focus on the terrorist outfits it breeds.
That's your personal opinion mate. I think both Pak and Indian tv sucks. Never watch that ****e. Though I would think it's better to be united than separated.I remember during the early days of Musharraf, there was some spat with India (very similar to the **** you're seeing these days actually), and he decided to ban indian channels from cable TV. So you're insulting my culture by equating it to trashy television shows? Maybe you lot should have just gone to Afghanistan. That way you'd have been better off being slaughtered by Tajiks and Uzbek warlords than you would've been getting rights from Desis and then complaining about how much you hate us. Punjabis are Indians, we have always been Indians, and if you don't like our culture that's fine. We don't rape little boys. We don't care much about shooting each other, or ****ing each other over. Sorry, but if you think you can sit there and insult my culture like that, tough mate. I have no respect for racists like you. If you like Tajik and Uzbek warlords, go back to Babur in Afghanistan. Go get your ass handed to you by Dostum and Massoud.Last edited by Porus; 11-23-2016, 08:18 PM.

Nope. There was grass roots support big time. Punjabis fought each other. Pashtuns had Bacha Khan who wanted unity. Whether he echoed most Pashtun's opinion is not something I know. There is no way pakistan would've happened had there not been grass roots support, especially since gandhi was actively for unification, and had a massive following.Originally posted by Porus View PostThe Mohajirs created Pakistan, they asked for Pakistan, while the Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Baloch and Sindhis watched it happen, big difference. You're oblivious to the ways in which Pakistanis differentiate themselves from indians. As well, I invite you to do a casual Google search using terms revolving around the obsession with fair skin in the entire sub continent. I'm glad you don't care, but for most this would be a sufficient reason.1. I don't care about the colour of my skin. I don't know why anyone should, or would. That's a silly thing to care about.
That's a no brainer since pakistan is 97% Muslim. There's a 97% chance that anyone who dies will be a muslim.2.
Secondly, India is an extremely hostile Neighbor. They've been obsessed with us since as far back as I can remember. They blame everything under the sun on pakistan. They have forced us to be militarily focused because they're 6x our size. They've been dreaming of greater bharat since 1947.
You're under estimating how much of our industry would disappear overnight because indians have massive scale. That's your personal opinion mate. I think both Pak and Indian tv sucks. Never watch that ****e. Though I would think it's better to be united than separated.
You see the poverty stats in India? If you can assure yourself a rich life in India, your desire for unification would make sense. Otherwise you'd be another victim of British colonial hierarchy rearrangement. Hindus went from subjugated to upper class.
Sorry pal, religion may or may not be antiquated, but it surely would effect your life immensely.
Why would i go somewhere else when what i have and had was in what is present day Pakistan? Why should I move? Why don't you move to India? So you're insulting my culture by equating it to trashy television shows? Maybe you lot should have just gone to Afghanistan. Get tougher skin dude. I'm just an honest guy. Maybe it's a pashtun trait, maybe I'm just a brazen straight shooter, but if something looks like ****, I'll say it when is relevant.
I already told you I have many Punjabi friends. It's hard to live in a place like Islamabad without that. It's also not like I was tracking their ethnicity before making friends. I just think some of things in said culture is unappealing.
Doesn't mean I hate the people per se. Just means I don't care for their comedy, music etc. Hell, it could mean I hate it. I could just as well say I hate Pepsi but love coke. Doesn't mean I hate Pepsi employees dude.

Nonsense. Pakiland was not a project of "Mohajirs". It had backers from many different parts of India, especially in Bengal and Punjab where it always had a base of support.Originally posted by Porus View PostThe Mohajirs created Pakistan, they asked for Pakistan, while the Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Baloch and Sindhis watched it happen, big difference. Some of the biggest and original idealogues of Pakiland were Punjabis like Chaudhry Rahmat Ali and the Iranian wanabe and typical self-hating Punjabi, Muhammed Iqbal.
It is not an original idea of Jinnah. Punjabis like Chaudhry and Iqbal were conceiving such an idea of Pakiland, no doubt with British intrigue behind them, before Jinnah even supported it.

Muslim league did not win in Punjab in the 1946 elections, majority of Punjabi Muslims did not support Pakistan.
I mean, if you think Allama Iqbal was the ideologue of Pakistan, then you share the same views as that of Pak Mil. Allama Iqbal wanted Muslims of the world to rise up against the (Christian) Kuffaar, but that doesn't mean he wanted Pakistan. His son Javed Iqbal, to this day, denies Pakistan as a Hindu conspiracy,Some of the biggest and original idealogues of Pakiland were Punjabis like Chaudhry Rahmat Ali and the Iranian wanabe and typical self-hating Punjabi, Muhammed Iqbal.
Lots of Muslims were behind the idea, but Iqbal wasn't an ideologue for Pakistan. At the end of the day, it wasn't up to Iqbal or Rahmat Ali either. It was up to Jinnah, and he, and his supporters from UP, Bihar, CP and Bengal made it happen. Pakhtunkhwa had Bacha Khan's government, Punjab had the Khaksaars and the Muslim league, but the Muslim league was not a majority in the Punjab, as far as I know. Sindh got more votes for Pakistan than Punjab. It is not an original idea of Jinnah. Punjabis like Chaudhry and Iqbal were conceiving such an idea of Pakiland, no doubt with British intrigue behind them, before Jinnah even supported it.

Pakistan had some support, from Muslims who were sympathetic to the idea of a state for Muslims. However, people like Bacha Khan and the Khaksars of Punjab were loyal to their soil. They didn't care about religion being a basis for nationality.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostNope. There was grass roots support big time. Punjabis fought each other. Fair skin, as far as I know, is something everybody in this region desires. They're a bunch of self-hating people, who can't accept the fact that wherever they are, the majority of them are brown. This is Indians, Pakistanis and Afghans. Iranians who think they're Europeans are just as hilarious. You're oblivious to the ways in which Pakistanis differentiate themselves from indians. As well, I invite you to do a casual Google search using terms revolving around the obsession with fair skin in the entire sub continent. I'm glad you don't care, but for most this would be a sufficient reason.
You can also look at the statistics and compare how the Hindu population of Pakistan has increased vs how the population of Muslims in India has increased over the years. Do a Google search. That's a no brainer since pakistan is 97% Muslim. There's a 97% chance that anyone who dies will be a muslim.
India wants the same thing as Afghanistan does, which is for Pakistan military to stop disputing the current border. It wants Pakistan to accept the line of control and carry on as a decent neighbour. For which, I don't see that as a problem. If India wants cordial relationships with us, then why should we be worried about Kashmir? If we worry about Kashmir, they'll worry (in turn) about Balochistan, and that can only lead to conflict.Secondly, India is an extremely hostile Neighbor. They've been obsessed with us since as far back as I can remember. They blame everything under the sun on pakistan. They have forced us to be militarily focused because they're 6x our size. They've been dreaming of greater bharat since 1947.
Rich Muslims like A.R Rahman, Javed Akhtar and MJ Akbar, worked hard to get to where they are right now. They weren't 'discriminated' against. They overcame their obstacles and succeeded in a secular society. Can a Hindu be Pakistan's president? Can a Christian be the Prime Minister? No.Sorry pal, religion may or may not be antiquated, but it surely would effect your life immensely.
That was my response to you saying Punjabi culture is trashy. Why would i go somewhere else when what i have and had was in what is present day Pakistan? Why should I move? Why don't you move to India?
Yeah well, you have freedom enough to say whatever you want regarding ethnicity in Pakistan.Get tougher skin dude. I'm just an honest guy. Maybe it's a pashtun trait, maybe I'm just a brazen straight shooter, but if something looks like ****, I'll say it when is relevant.
No dude, saying 'Panjoos are like trashy Indian tv shows' is not like saying Pepsi is worse than Coke. It's a silly statement, and it proves your own prejudice against Punjabis or Indians in general. If you don't like Indian TV shows, just say that you don't like them, but don't drag us into it. It's like me saying 'I hate Tolonews, and all their presenters sound like some Pathans from Peshawar'. That would make me a racist.I already told you I have many Punjabi friends. It's hard to live in a place like Islamabad without that. It's also not like I was tracking their ethnicity before making friends. I just think some of things in said culture is unappealing.

If you don't like the content of Indian TV, that's fine. I don't like Indian TV either. But it's not because of their culture. I just hate bad content.
