I was having drinks with a batch-mate at the Officer's Mess one day. The discussion revolved around to the two years he spent in Afghanistan (I'm obviously not going to spell out the specifics, but it was not Kabul alone).

He told me that for the Afghan there was first Khuda and then the Indian doctor. When he showed me the conditions in which they operated and ran full fledged hospitals and surgical field units, it was not hard to understand why.

Paki dhobhi ke kutte, if we Indians wanted to tear you Pakis a new hole, we would reach into your homes and do it. We do not need to build roads and bridges and dams and schools and parliament houses and run hospitals and mobile operating theaters in Afghanistan to do it.

No Indian is at risk in Afghanistan from an Afghan. We roam openly there. It is you Pakis and your explosive laden trucks and vests we need to be secured from. Nange se Khuda bhi darta hai ....

And yes, for the few racist Afghans here who are doing a miserable job of representing their country to the Indian guests here - guest who will meet other Indians back home and speak, who in turn will speak to others. Most of those doctors saving your lives are Hindus. Though for us they are simply Indians helping their less fortunate regional neighbors. As we have done scores of times for all our smaller neighbors in their time of need.

As long as we have millions of poor and needy and hungry and naked people of our own who need help, we do not need to do it. But we do. We do not need your thanks. But we definitely do not appreciate your racism either. Most of you on forums like this are probably expats living in Western comfort out of Afghanistan. Much like some of the ultra rabid Pakis on PDF. But what you do, and what you say, reflects on your less fortunate brothers and sisters back home.

Listen monkey.................America also give large amount of aid to Pakistan, ever heard of USAID?, nothing is for free and there is always agenda behind it. The dams and other projects of India in Afghanistan, is to impress the simple Afghan and poison their mind against Pakistan........assuring them that India will always be there for Afghanistan against Pakistan. Gullible and simple-minded Afghans have taken the bait and have provided access to Indian spy agencies to influence and support insurgencies in Baluchistan and North-west by using soil of Afghanistan. By doing so, Pakistan belief is further strengthened that they have no choice but to keep on supporting Afghan Taliban.

Desis dont deserve racism from anyone, specially not Afghans...

Afghans in Afghanistan are self assured but at same time humble and good people in heart (some western diaspora Afghans on forums may be more racist due to being in forreign countries themselves and being minority, but even its no excuse)...and its alright to be racialist in the sense of being happy for what you are/belong to, keep your race/ethnicity/culture pure and such stuff...but to outright talk down about other races/cultures is not ideal...we must all refrain from such behavior...
