The Khattak tribe, which is one of the largest Pashtun tribes, is mainly settled in the Karak,Kohat and Nowshera districts of Pakistan.
In Nowshera district, the town of Akora Khattak is inhabited by the "Akora" branch of Khattak tribe and they speak the local dialect of Pashto, unlike the Khattaks of Karak and Kohat.
My question:
Which branch of Khattak tribe is living in Cherat/Saleh Khana/ Kotli Kalan?
And is their dialect similar to Khattaks of Karak or have they adopted the northern Pashto dialect that is prevalent in the Peshawar valley?
