  • when you mix theology and science

when you mix theology and science, or interpret science according to wishes of some theologian, you get this. this is a kpk text book published by alliance of PTI and jumati.

    a chapter on evolution.
this is how you kill scientific thought among the youths

Your confused. Darwin was a Unitarian who believed that the laws of nature including adaptation of species are divine laws. He thought creationism was the opinion of ignorant people who lacked knowledge of nature. Its not about mixing theology and science that bring ignorance, its about rejecting truth that brings ignorance which is why you belong in the ignorant category.

Like always, you missed the point. Your faulty thinking assumes that this book, which is not a biology book, proves theology is flawed.

Ibn Khaldun has talked about evolution hundreds of years before Darwin.

To those interested in Evolution debeate, you can look up this thread opened by Mahmud AKA Iblees long time ago

science and theology are two separate things, and should never be mixed or prefered over another.

Science cannot prove or disprove Khudawand's existence. No matter how religious you are, science shouldn't be considered a threat to your beliefs. In fact, quite the opposite. I am sure if there is a creator, he has made us into this world, given us minds, to make full use of it. Find out the truth. Explore, learn, discover, invent and improve human conditions.

What kind of "biology book" barely talks about biology, and spends all it's time talking about... well... that. It's literally pages of saying how the other person is an idiot.

Just read what's underneath the second underline in the image I posted.

"The hypothesis that two prokaryotes cells invaded another prokaryote cell resulting in the evolution (No commas, wow... This is embarrassing as f*ck) of a eukaryote cell is as baseless as some ones claim that two rakshas invaded a third one and in this way the motor car was evolved."

OK... so this is not an accurate theory. Now what? Is this biology? A list of inaccurate theories you need to be sure not to believe.

Evolution is evident in everything, whether living or man made. How computer evolved, how the today modern planes are the evolved form of wright brothers first plane. Most theologian don't deny evolution, it's the explanation like how life originated , either human is a part of that evolutionary chain or not.

i don't know why people are so conflicted by this. no one was there to know exactly what happened so why can't they just say, islam teaches this and darwin claims that. let people take it from there.
this person has no problem talking in detail about what darwin's theory does or doesn't but when it comes to God's eternal power, he leaves it right there. no elaborations provided there. and why is this so shocking to you all?? be glad you have a subject called biology where darwin was mentioned.

it's not enough to know that you are surrounded by evolved forms of stupidity, you also have to know how to work your way around it. it's very unlikely that one will get away with publishing or teaching from a textbook that mentions darwin only in societies where religious extremism has been ingrained in the minds of people for centuries. let them have their share of a say in what is being taught to their kids, too.
actually, not even that. stupid people also have the right to express themselves. as long as everyone gets to have a share of their own say, things wont be as bad. i wouldn't want my kids to read about darwin only. let them learn what other people have to say too. they can choose for themselves later.

The format is a bit counterproductive. It's essentially "XYZ hypothesis is false", and "here is a list of reasons showing it's false". A lot of actual biology is glossed over in the process.
