Its not like gates will be closed permanently, they will just need visa that's all. I doubt getting visa for afghan will become difficult unless relations get very very bad between Pak-Afghan.

10,000 Refugees Return Home from Pakistan In 4 Days
      Wednesday, 27 July 2016 18:45

Afghanistan's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations (MoRR) said on Wednesday that the number of Afghan refugees returning home from Pakistan is on the rise and that 10,000 have returned home in just four days.
MoRR statistics show that up to 200,000 refugees have returned home in the past six months.

Increasing pressure by Pakistani forces is believed to be the main reason for the influx of return refugees.

"The government is also trying in part to provide shelter to the refugees coming home, certain NGOs are also providing them with cash which enables the refugees to consult health services," said Hafiz Ahmad Miakhail, media advisor for the MoRR.

"Following increasing tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the political pressure also increased on Afghan refugees, so repatriation levels increased in the wake of efforts made by government for voluntary repatriation; cash support also increased and these issues are the main aspects of the rise in the repatriations," said Miakhail.

Abdul Salam is one refugee who has returned. He lived in Pakistan for 35 years.

"Pakistan has imposed additional restrictions and pressure, police now easily arrest a refugee and investigate them, police arrested my son despite the fact he had a refugee card. " he said.

According to Salam, all his children have been denied an education in Pakistan.

But for another refugee this was not the case.

"We had a good life there, our children were at school, now we have returned to live in our own country," Gul Zarina said.

Up to 1.5 million Afghan refugees still live in Pakistan. However, Pakistan has given the refugees six months to leave.

Well I don't believe Pakistan is going to send back all refugees. They are just using them as a political tool. Every time sh*t goes serious between both countries Pakistan uses these poor people as an escape goat against Afghanistan. Its a coward but understandable behavior by Pakistan: they are running out of other options. Their good terrorist are failing miserably. Their country is isolated. India is leaving them behind. USA has used them as a condom. So this coward country uses the weakest and poorest people in order to let some steam off.

        Its all propaganda and frustration.

Actually they now can live in camps but on afghan side. Otherwise they are not refugees but economic immigrants and frankly speaking we have to many poor people of our own to take any economic immigrant. Germany needed cheap workers but Pakistan can't afford them.

They should all go back and settle in Kabul, many are richer then average Kabuli and educated. They can dominate Kabul with their numbers and make it better.

Give all of them citizenship as most of them are already under the influence of Pakistanism, some of them may still need sometime to adjust but we will take care of them.

There's no point in sending them back, because they will just come back anyway.
