  • AFG Introduces Standard Product Certification

After decades of conflict in Afghanistan, signs of economic growth are visible throughout the country. This year, the Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) introduced a standard certification mark to identify quality products that are produced domestically. The purpose of ANSA is to provide guidance and leadership on how to use the international system of standardization to best advance the economic well-being of Afghans in a global market. This is great for domestic producer as it will allow their products to pass a standard quality control allowing them easier access to international markets. Additionally a strong standardization infrastructure would ensure sustained economic growth, reduce trade barriers, and improve Afghanistan’s export market.
Would you agree that standardization will greatly benefit Afghanistan’s economic development?
