Okay i mostly stayed in Eastern Afghanistan, i was not able to visit Kandahar.

I was in Kabul. I went to Laghman, Ningarhar, Paghman. I could not go to Kunar or Nuristan like i wanted. I will post up photos later after i upload them onto photobucket.


hmmmm lets see.....Afghanistan is not what i expected. I knew what it would look like, but still. The country is so dusty, it makes it hard to breathe. The weather is not so bad, its actually pretty reasonable in Kabul, but the dust makes it warmer. Around 4-5 pm, it gets windy, and the dust becomes a huge problem. Everyone walks around with a desmal on their face to cover their nose and mouth. It even irritates your eyes so much. You can taste the dust on your lips and if you rub your eyes, it burns like crazy.

Kabul is so dirty. Garbage is everywhere, literally piled everywhere. Bottles, cans, other waste is just scattered around everywhere. And no one, literally no one tries to clean it up.

There is no law for the streets and intersections. People drive as they please. Many people do not have licenses. And they drive like major maniacs. Everyday, every minute there is traffic. You can never get anywhere in time. Its really ridiculous. And the police never do anything about it. They just stand around doing nothing.

It is as if laws are not enforced, as if there isnt even a government to run the country.
