As such, today 66 countries, including Afghanistan, have signed up to the global coalition led by the United States to show the will and commitment to combat this threat. As Secretary of State, John Kerry has stated, “Afghanistan faces its own challenges with Daesh and wants to make its contribution in this effort”.
