My suggestion would be to create a whole new institution with teachers and instructors who have international degrees in various sciences. They should have a very tough entry exam.

Currently, most of those products of "Darul Malimeen" can barely read and write properly. Look at some of their posts in pashto and farsi on facebook. They communicate like they didnt even finish school.
well yeah that would be a start...I do wonder how the pre-war goverment delivered teachers and education, from what I heard even the crumbling Najib goverment had better teachers than the ones set up in the 14 years by the mudjhahids....

the bacteria in yogurt dies when you put it in a negative or sad environment. i don't know how you people can breathe will all this negativity around you. who says this is the only option??
if you speak pashtu at home and you care enough for it to read it in places other than where it is made mandatory for you, you will not lose the language. if it needs to be forced on you because you have no interest in it yourself, then chances of you losing it is more.

some people have no faith in themselves. they know that if someone does not beat stuff in to them, they wont carry it long with them. religion needs to be forced on your people and your children and so does love and pride for your language or culture. because being left to it on your own, you would abandon it as soon as you get the chance.. like those women who claim their husbands beat them because they love them.

What you say does not make any sence. So in evey country where they use their own langauge are forced to speak it? How is me wanting to be taught in Pashtu and use Pashtu in goverment is forcing people? What the hell are you talking? Who the hell is forced here? What should people speak then? English everywhere? Loosing your language is also loosing your culture.
Its the job of the goverment to ensure that proper education is provided in the native tongue. English is good but as an enrichment and not as the basis langauge. Without goverment support and rules no language can survive. I gues if it was about farsi/dari you would not mind showing it down everyone troughts.

I guess the whole world is forcing every one to speak their langauge....

I doubt that the quality of education before the war was any better. The thing is with Afghans is that we always tend to boast and exaggerate about stuff.

Personally, I am not convinced because all the doctors, lawyers, scientists and engineers I've seen from that particular era, are all extremely shallow. They are very good at boasting about their education and their titles. That's because in a very ignorant and backward country, people with little education quickly feel like they know everything.

If the knowledge of those people was of any value, they wouldn't end up as manual laborers in Western countries. Look at all the refugees in Holland, Germany and UK. The educated people, the older generation, they are all unable to find jobs in their own fields.

I do know a lot of doctors who are 40 and some engineers who found a work in their own field.
