A documentary film aired recently on PBS’s Frontline depicts ISIS recruiting children as young as three years old to become Jihadists. According to the Frontline documentary, ISIS fighters say all local children are educated by the Islamic State from the age of three; a horrifying thought that children as young as three years old are subjected to learn how to kill, how to behead, and how to become suicide bombers when they should be learning math, sciences, history, languages, and other subjects that are beneficial to them. Instead, they are being trained to become suicide bombers and are pawns in the hands of ISIS embedding their ideology into the next generation of children who would be future leaders of their country.
Could recruitment of young children be a sign of the terror group’s weakening status undermining their sphere of influence?
Below is the PBS documentary on ISIS recruiting children well worth watching, and let us know your thoughts.
