my hamster accidentally got kicked across the room and now it wont stop running around in circles.
So you have kept a rat as a pet?
Even being a farmer, I have never kept an animal inside my home. Does the smell not bother you? I had a friend that kept a ferret as a pet, and omg I stopped going to his house because the rodent smelled terrible. It was so bad, I wondered how their family even ate dinner.

That's being "progressive". Keeping a rodent in a cage just like white people do. This will liberate her from shackles of deprivity and backwardness.

Never talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

Being in presence of a caged animal makes you happy. Why am I not surprised?

it's a 1.5 gram of a palm sized domesticated animal. if i let it out of it's "cage" it will go under the fridge and die of the vibration noise. shut up when you don't know a thing about a thing.

Captivating it and depriving it from his species is okay since it's a small and volnurable creature. Would it have been less volnurable and bigger, then captivation would be wrong. Makes sense.

In Pakistan, I have only kept 3 pets.
First was my parrot.
He would walk around our house and his wings were clipped. He could also sound just like us when we were talking. My mamoo taught him how to say panchod(curseword). My Nana(grandfather) was a haji, and very pious person. One day my nana came home and the parrot said "hajji saab panchod". It was hilarious, but my grandfather was like, what the hell?
Next day my grandfather went to pray Fajr and the parrot said it again. When my grandfather came back, he said "get rid of this bird. Sell it or kill it". My cousins ended up selling our bird. He was a very nice and rare species. He would also walk around our house.
So my next two pets were these:
Blue Parakeet:
And Green Parakeet:
I kept both of them in the same cage. I left the cage outside in my veranda, or part of the house that is outside.
I would play with them all the time, and I was young. On the roof of our house lived cats. And one day when I came home, the cage wire was bent and my blue parakeet was dead, while the other one was going crazy flying around and hitting it's head against the cage.
I became very upset and started to cry. The cats upstairs on my roof that were living there killed my parakeet. I went to my mother an cried, and my mother told me, that animals should not be locked up. How would you feel If you were locked in a prison. She said Allah swt would not want any of his creations to be locked up.
I had then made a decision. I was going to let loose my green parakeet so that he could live free. I thanked my mother, and then opened the door of the cage, so that he could fly out and go to his family.
At the time, I did not know that the people that sell these birds in bazar, clip their wings so they can no longer fly. When I opened the cage door the green parakeet came flying out, but kept crashing into the walls of our house. It could fly for like three seconds and then would crash into something or come crashing down.
Eventually, the parakeet made it over the wall, I felt like I had liberated the poor animal. A week later, I went up to our roof to grab laundry for drying, and saw green feathers, and ultimately bones of a bird.
Again my heart sank and I became very sad. I saw the cats on our roof, with many young kittens. I was so pissed off, I was very angry. I took a borri, or a potato sack up there and started to grab the cats by their necks. I kept grabbing them and put them into the potato sack. Even the young kittens, I was grabbing them and put them into the sack.
After putting all the cats into the sack, I took a ride with my cousin and left the sack in front of the bazaar gate of my city. As we passed by, I just dropped the sack. I probably had at least 7-10 cats in the borri. I figured they would not bother us anymore. I dropped the sack and sped away with my cousin.
A week later, all of the cats that I had grabbed and dropped off were again on our roof.
That reminds me that I have never eaten duck before, I wonder what it tastes like.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
It's not good. It's greasy and gamey and inherently salty tasting relative to chicken. It sounds good and then you eat it and regret it.
To me, duck tastes absolutely tasteless. But you know Pakistanis. Throw some haldi and lal mirch and roast it, and it's not bad. But personally, I dislike duck.
My favorite is goat, which Afghans and Pashtuns don't eat. Most of you guys only eat sheep. But to me, the sheep meat has a bad odor. I've eaten buffalo, cow, camel, chicken, goat, lamb, rabbit, and a wide variety of birds, including pheasant.
I honestly dislike lamb for the smell, and quail for the amount of tiny bones within it.
In my city, well just outside of it, Afghan barbecue is pretty popular. Kebabs and tikka meats are well appreciated. Also Afghan naan is very good. Afghan pulao is also very good, but the fruits and raisons, don't make sense to me.
I've also tried Iranian ghormeh saabzi, and it tastes like complete ****. It's like a rip off of palaak gosht(spinach/meat), with no flavor or spice. Even the meat is not prepared thoroughly.
So I like some Afghan dishes definitely, but Iranian food is bland, tasteless, and not well prepared in my opinion.
I don't know if its just how my family cooks it, but chicken in Afghan dishes are dry and tough as hell. It looks good but when you chew it its like leather.

i don't necessarliy endorse the opinions or material contained in this document. i was researching for something else when i came across that portion of the book and someday would like to read more on the subject.

alright. which one of you geniuses would like to explain the last sentence of the first paragraph to me??
Cybele, the goddess is, according to the "conspiracy theory" the author believes went from Rome to Mecca sometime between the year 610 to 632. How would the Prophet (PBUH), who was in Madina at the time take it from Rome (in Italy)? The claim is amateurish.
The black stone was placed in the Kaaba during the time if Abraham. It predates the Cybele false claim.
