Why are extreme muslims so evil?

Why are most extremist muslim, or the so called devout and pure muslims, always so evil. They never repsect other people. But that is not the only thing, they publicaly preach to kill all the people who are diffrent or want to become atheist.

They say they want Islam to progress but they never help their own muslims in need. Like for example the current refugee crisis, no shariah lover have raisen to collect money for those people. But they do collect money for a new mosque. They never say that calling other women on the street a ***** is bad and that respecting older people no matter if they are christian should be done. Becuase you do live in their country.

Behaving like a street monkey and smoking around metro station is totaly ok and nobody say anything about that. But you can hear 1 hour long preach about how women should cover themself and wear less make-up and what not. Meanwhile the men are having sex and drinking alcohol like there is no tomorow. And not to forget the drug abuse....Even they so called extremist are using drugs and are geting drunk.

So I really wonder why this people do not see the light, even tough they claim to be so devout and pure muslims. Still they have so much hate and intolerance in their heart. The only nice muslims that I have met where the ones who were not relligious. Or were simply not really wel informed about Islam.

No read what I wrote, I tell you that the so called devout pure muslims never help people in need, but do collect money for a mosque.

They critisize women for stupid things like make up and cloths. But the guys on the street who smoke and do drugs and alcohol are never adressed. That is what I mean. And I know a guy who has a beard he even prays in our univercity during lecture hours, but I saw him getting drunk the other day. And the worst thing is that he was the one who told me that people who even serve alcohol at stores should be punished with lashes :S

And they are alway full of hate. Always wanting to end the life of other who do not fit in to there standart.

Yes, people can be hypocrites its no surprise. Some may have too much pride or are ashamed of their haram that they will not own up to it. Islam says to hide haram actions, not to flaunt it and not to be proud of it.

The reason muslims have more extremists, has to do with two things, the political situation in the countries and the promotion of Salafi/Wahabhi extremism since the 80's, this has had made many many muslims very radical and dangerous

Also there is no denying that all religions have violence in their texts, no one can deny this, it's up to the followers if they follow those scriptures or not

khostai, it seems like the majority of extremists are muslims because muslims or those who identify themselves as muslim are coming from a larger population. the range of faults that they display appears bigger in comparison to other religions too. part of it is also because muslims come from poverty stricken societies. naturally crime rates will be higher among them than others. and don't forget, when it comes to media, hatred sells better than love.
