The previous layout is still available to those interested. I changed it because I thought this newer style might make things more simple. As time passes I hope many will realize what I mean.
For example, In the previous layout a picture with a high resolution would have distorted your screen and banner and not to mention it made the page look all funky. Now that problem has been taken care of with this new layout. Nonetheless, you are not obligated to use this layout. You may simply choose the other layout in your User Control Panel or scroll down to the bottom-left and click on "Amanius".

the old one was ok.. the new one is faded and white.. if you change the colors to Blue and white.. Navy blue.. it wil look good.. this theme is irritating my eyes ..Comment

Makes it feel like the question was just a rethorical one and everything the person was willing to hear was compliments and not real opinions.
As for me.... I like clean. Really. I'm just not sure this is the best color at all. While the other was darker and made it feel more cosy, comfortable and welcomed (something caused by the memories of a nice wooden house) this one makes it feel empty, as I've seen other members already pointing out. This feeling of emptiness, though, is not caused by the color, I think it's more about something we used to have on the sides of the page and I'm missing now. Still, the color doesn't seem like the best choice at all. Being gray one of the shades between the black and the white, the general theme doesn't help our eyes to take some rest or even to increase the contrasts so that our reading won't be bothered by trying to adjust. It's not a perpetuous change from black to a dark grey, to a lighter grey, to white.... I know as I'm writing right now I'm trying not to look straight to the screen, because the colors in the page are shiny and makes my eyes tired and sore in a matter of seconds. I would suggest something with better contrast, as it would make the reading comfortable and the focus easier. Contrasts are there for a reason, and it was not well used in the new theme. It's pretty. But, only appliable if one wants to pass by and leave in minutes. For more than that, it makes the eyes dry, the focus difficult and I really take seconds to adjust back to watching my TV when my eyes are tired of here.The shade of green is pretty, one of my most loved ones.
The other one had a better use of colors and the space. Some times, it seemed much polluted, but still, was warmer than this new one. Also, it screamed Pashtun Forum. Entering here, with this new theme.... it's just another layout to a common website. Lacks identity. And no, to the ones who might say that, it's not because I'm not used to it.... it just plainly lacks an identity of its own.
Other than that.... yeah, I feel comfortable with that I already know; but which one of us doesn't? Narcissus had a problem with things that didn't ressemble a mirror... don't we all? Yet, aside from my very personal likings and preferences.... I feel like there's too much space here now, the other one was warmer and had more personality; and this new theme is good; and clean; and pretty; and empty.
And yes, I'm aware the other one is still available somewhere for those who still want to use that..... I was just expressing my opinion on the new look, as I think to say "No, I don't like it" would be, to say the least, not very polite and wouldn't provide much of a possibility to future changes and betterment.
That's pretty much all I had to say. Back to work now

I know I talk a lot, just something I can't quit, it comes with being a girl but, if you read my entire post, you would've noticed I acknowledged my awareness of the changing settings.... I love the blue color motif that appears.

I have been so pleased with this "makeover" since I first saw it.
Thanks to all who participated in that.
The posters must be grateful for all the thought and fine-tuning that must have gone into the redesign.
Yet how nice it is for those who dont like it to have the option to use the old familiar one.

this look gives PF an elegant look.....important areas highlighted in dark and the rest are subtle and quiet.....
was this KARMA thing there before or its somethingnew???? which says 'add to xyz's reputation'

i prefer the old one, coz it had really nice colour like soil of afghanistan, our famous ppl's pics were there and green leaves looked really nice with that colour
