Though I don't agree with a lot of what Karachi says, I do believe he is a nice person and has a good heart.
Punjabi abuse of Karachi.
If you follow this forum and understand a little about Pakistan you will see that all of the "Pakistani nationalists" (Punjabi nationalists/supremacists), insult Karachi's background as an Urdu-speaking "Mohajir" (those Indian Muslims who migrated to Pakistan during partition) derisorily referring to him as a "Bhaiya" (mocking slang word for Karachites/Mohajirs).
This includes trolls such as tripedouble, Tillian_joa, Pakwatan (the troll who said he was from the Hazara division, northern Pakistan on defence.pk using his "Razpak" handle, and then said he was a Saraiki, from southern Pakistan on this forum).
You may say well this is the internet and a forum so people hurl insults, semi-humorously sometimes.
However deeper than that there is a fundamental belief that - despite all the standard nationalist rhetoric these Pakistani/Punjabi nationalists that have infiltrated this forum throw about "Pakistani unity" and "oneness" - Mohajirs are "lesser".
"Lesser" racially and "lesser" in their Pakistaniness.
If a person who was Saraiki and was a liberal (e.g not a hardcore military fanboy like tripletrouble or Tillian_joga) and was expressing the same sort of anti-militarism, anti-fundamentalism ideas that Karachi is, his being a Saraiki would not be brought up.
His region of Punjab would not be discussed, no comments about Multan, Jhang, Bhawalpur etc.
The only thing that might be mentioned is that he is a "traitor liberal", India-loving, or an Indian in disguise etc.
Punjabi-ness (and its subsets e.g. Saraikiness) is not seen as something to be derided.
However being a Mohajir or "Bhaiya" is seen with contempt and derision.
People like Toramana will know what I am talking about, as we have very few active and mature Pashtuns from Pakistan on this forum.
I feel and sympathize with a Mohajir like Karachi when I see the mocking racism directed towards him from Punjabis like Tillian_joga, driveltrouble and Pakwatan (a.k.a. Razpak a.k.a. Shamain).
This sort of racism and racial superiority complex is ultimately what led to 1971 and the surrender and humiliation of the American-backed Pakistan military.

Surrender of 90,000 Pakistanis to Bangladeshi-Indian forces in 1971.
